I like what ole is doing. While I think transfer fees are insane if they get results we want then nobody will care. When city and PSG arrived this was inevitable and then was worsened by PL money. If solskjaer was adamant it had to be Maguire rather than cheaper alternative, I’m happy to back him and support him. If lukaku goes in a straight swap for Dybala then 145m on wan bissaka, Maguire, James and Dybala is actually not that bad. Can hopefully recoup some money for darmian and rojo also.

Agreed. Mike is our second or third best CB now that Maguire has joined. No way should we sell him before Rojo, Bailly, or Jones.
I have never liked or rated Smalling highly since he signed for us. Jones is in same boat for me. Think they will both be safe though.
Think Smalling is cowardly at times when faced with pace, but he is still better those latter three. Us chucking contracts at them was ridiculous, it was to add value to them, but has actually made them worthless.
It really does not matter does it. What I mean is what's really the difference between Smalling and Jones. Smalling can't pass and Jones cant stay fit and both are not elite defensively anyway. (Btw I see Rojo as worse than both.) Now I like Smalling more than Jones but really neither are good enough.

I don’t see him being shoehorned in at all. We’ve been playing 4-2-3-1 with Mata or Lingard at no 10 most of pre-season.
I’d imagine Dybala will go in there as it’s his best position and play behind Rashford/Martial.

Deligjted to have Maguire coming in. Wasn't really that keen on him until I saw his highlights. I know it shows him at his best, but getting a CB who is a serious threat on corners/freekicks and is great at ball carrying is something we absolutely need. He's of course also a really good defender and I think his partnership with Lindelöf will also enhance Lindelöf's abilities, given what Lindelöf has had to deal with next to him.
Nah, think they mean now that they got Malcom, Everton can focus on Zouma instead or whatever. Dont think Zouma would move to Zenith
