Its good we're thinking of offloading Rom, but im not sure who we plan to bring in as a prolific goalscorer.

Jovic would be ideal, and the price seems reasonable.
Yes that is a problem to be addressed

It makes no sense to ship him out and be left with no striker. He at least can score goals against shit opposition

Who said “all”

I said United “might” have to replace some players bought this summer to win the league..

You said some “might” need upgrading...

I’m not sure the crazy emoji was needed.

"United are in the terrible position where they might have to buy players to improve the squad so they can get Top 4, only to then need to replace said players again to win the league."

Can't wait until we have a team full of hard working runners with nil actual footballing talent to replace the likes of Pogba! :-S

If Pogba / De Gea leave then we are up shit creek... You don't sell your best players, ever.

16 goals and 14 assists from midfield in that team is fecking brilliant, most in the top 5 leagues in Europe and you want rid????

Wouldn't you sulk if you received the ball in midfield and looked up and your option was Ashley fecking Young or Lingard?

United fans lately are off their tits, crazy.

Dont you know by now, mediocre running >> creative talent. Thats the new 'united way'

Haha wow jesus! you forgot to bold ‘might’ which totally kills your argument but never mind...moving on

All done in just a few games, what did he do for the other 3/4 of the season? Also, take away the penalties and the figures are nowhere near as good (obviously). If he actually gave a feck, perhaps peoples' opinion would be different.

Lies he was near the top of the assist chart in the league before Ole arrived

Ashley fecking Young and Lingard wete here when we signed Pogba he knew what he was coming to, Him and De Gea are our best players but if he wants to go I'd rather we do it sooner then later so we can move on. Just don't get why Pogba would have a problem with the fans giving him stick and use that as an excuse to wanting to leave allegedly.

Haha wow jesus! Thats not the argument but its whether you said some players (which you said in your second post) or said players (your first post).>>>>"only to then need to replace said players again to win the league."

What does "might" have to do with it?. Unless you think "might" and "some" are the same thing,

"Might" have to sell some players or "Might" have to sell said players .......Makes no difference, Unless it does in your head.:lol:

btw you didn't say "some" in your first post (unless you think might = some ). At least read your own post so you don't embarrass yourself.

I’d sign him and Neves in a heartbeat, young and PL proven. They make way too much sense. If either happen I’ll close my account on here as there’s no chance we do such sensible business.

Atlético have closed deals with Herrera, midfield (out of contract), and Felipe, CB that will cost 20/25 m€.
The signing of Telles, the Left back is very advanced too. If not they also like Gayá, Tagliafico, Grimaldo.

Good business in light of the expiring contracts of Godin, Filipe and the sale of Lucas. They'll essentially be getting a new LB, CB and an improvement to CM plus the extension of Morata for what they sold Lucas for. Maybe get rid of Lemar too and bring in Lozano. I heard a link to Lozano. I think he's a good fit for Atletico with his tenacity.

Godin is almost impossible to replace with his leadership too but with the injury problems at LB I think Telles or Tagliafico would probably be considered upgrades. Not sure if Arias will be trusted as the full-time RB next season maybe they shop that position too.

There is nothing to discuss. You only think Ryan Sessegnon, an 18 year old isn't good enough based on his time in the PL as an 18 year old. Meanwhile, you think Daniel James, a 21 year old is good enough to play in the PL based on his time in the Championship, as a 21 year old. You've chosen to trust United over Spurs in regards to this unverifiable rumor/hypothetical, and you've chosen to judge Daniel James more favorable based on only that because clearly Ryan Sessegnon was better in their respective seasons in the Championship last season even though he was 3 years younger.

We'll agree to disagree. I don't have a problem with buying Daniel James btw. For that price, why not? I'm all for it. My only problem in this hypothetical is that Ryan Sessegnon is the better buy based on his price, age, and talent.

Well objectively speaking, Sessengnon is not a better buy at least based on the price. He costs more than Daniel James. Extra 10m may not mean anything to you, but it's a lot of money. And I am also judging them based on actually watching them play. Daniel James did more in that one game against City than Sessegnon, who looks like a kid against men, did in his entire season. So you can keep harping about their age or stats from Championship from entirely different seasons but to me they are completely immaterial.

Hehe Kath on reception will be handing a transfer request in next.

I suspect fans will be handing a transfer request in next and demand a move to other best clubs they can support if we have gotten worse next season.

Oh, Goodness yes. How could I forget that stage, that really gets my blood pumping.

It's very secretive, though, you know, the monitoring process. Think a dark room, round table, probably all freemasons. One big monitor and lots of conspiring. You ever seen our scouting team? no one has, such is the enormity of this stage :-

I love when we 'prepare' and 'set to make' bids. 3 months later and we'll have them signed up (if they haven't signed for our rivals instead).

I prefer "considering", or "considering to prepare", or "preparing to consider".

That's a real chicken and the egg scenario! No wonder we're not getting anywhere. We're stuck on the philosophical debate of whether preparation leads to consideration, or whether consideration gives rise to preparation!

It's a paradox!

Tielemans and Rabiot would improve our midfield immensely with a £50m outlay. It’s just far too sensible for our lot.

Anthony Martial's Manchester United future is secure – because the forward is viewed as the club's "Pele" by co-chairman Joel Glazer.

Big fan of Martial but

I really wonder with how much more garbage can McDonell get away with.

Well, i'm sure Joel Glazer knows what he is talking about. I mean, he does have a degree in interdisciplinary studies.

Like hell any Glazer knows who Pele is.
