And now we can build the team around Paul and maybe get Bruno, Longstaff, Maguire, whoever.

Does a show that occasionally has c list or 20 year retired United links on. And because of this people think he has "contacts"
To be fair, he's hardly likely to have his sources on his podcast. Sort of gives them away.

United have agreed terms with Sporting to sign Bruno Fernandes but they are waiting for Real to sell Bale & then
,complete the purchase Pogba to be able to complete the move for Bruno
the club clearly don’t have funds for transfers without recouping from sales

So a parasitical bullshit merchant who exploits the clubs standing and stature for his own gain, complaining about the Glazers exploiting the club for their own gain.

Whatever your views on the Glazers people like this should not be given exposure by fans publicising their bullshit social media output.

Whoever is at the helm at QPR should replace Woodward, sounds like a clearout we've been needing for the past 5 years.

The guy literally got an interview with Lukaku straight after he completed his medical with us in the same hospital

It's quite obvious he has some sort of legit contacts within the club

Did he call the transfer before though? This is what we're bothered with.
Not some guy who gets some interviews. There's100s in that boat.

Bit of a change that from "a show that occasionally has c list or 20 year retired United links on."

He called our shambles of a transfer window last summer before anyone else. Did a periscope (I think that's what it called) where he basically said it's looking like a disaster weeks before others started reporting it and it became obvious to anyone paying attention to Mourinho. Was among the first to break the differences between Mourinho and Ed with regards to targets.

Just like anyone else (that isn't Stone, Norwood or Ornstein) take what he says with a pinch of salt but he quite clearly has some contacts within the club.

We almost went through an entire transfer window without the ramblings of this idiot. Almost :D

95% of the tweeters know nothing and talk shit all the time, yet Phil Brown never fails to get a flood of reactions to say he's clueless

just goes to show how great he is at talking shit

It was obviously a bit exaggerated, but he's a "Journalist" of some type, rather than an insider geezer.

He "called" last summer did he? I think we all suspected and feared the worst!

I used to read his stuff every day, but stopped as there was no benefit.

I think it's the name Pilib De Brun. That's exceptionally irritating for starters. Before the BS spouting.

Yeah, who wouldn't want to play for Nico Kovac rather than for Pep, at probably lower wages.
I think at this point the only advantage we can give Sane would be more game time.
Lower wages? I thought Bayern offered him €2m/y more than City.

He's more like the Nostradamus we all deserve.
Imagining him predicting the Bebe signing, the Glazer takeover, Moyes, a bird shatting in Ashley Young’s mouth, Brexit, Trump and Boris Johnson in that uncomfortably odd, grating, slightly menacing, accent of his is horrifying. I have a prediction, I’d bloody top myself listening to it.

I don’t deserve that. No one does! Where is the humanity?!!

I'm ok with Phil...so long as @Ramshock is around to translate.

Pilib just uses a bit of common sense to decide which reports are true and then repeats them on periscope. Most people in this thread could do the exact same thing.

Are they making an ambitious push for promotion or just scatter-gunning it with all these signings?
I think a bit of both. They've been really ambitious in the transfer market under Tony Fernandes but I think their scattergun approach to signing aging stars led to their relegation from the PL (plus Hughes was a twat).

They seem to be going for youth and value this time around but bringing in 14 players is a bit of a gamble.

Wasn’t that on an NBC podcast?

So I was just checking our squad list(there's a limit of 25 person registered) and we currently stand at 25(if we include tuanzebe). That means we can't sign a player without selling a player.

So if we sign Maguire then it means Darmian has to leave or Tuanzebe will leave on loan.

What de Brun is saying is probably true that we won't sign Bruno without selling Pogba but for completely different reasons(unless we magically get rid of Rojo and Darmian)

James and Bale are staying at Madrid so I imagine they won't be buying Pogba (and we've made it clear we won't sell him). I hope we can offload Rojo at the very least, and perhaps Darmian or Sanchez. That would give us the room to bring in 2 more without losing Pogba.

If we are not signing Bruno, because we need to register Rojo in the 25 man squad this would be the stupidest reason anyone can ever make up.
