Ducker's comparatively reliable isn't he? Second rumour where we've supposedly offered Jones as a makeweight. He was allegedly offered as part of the Issa Diop deal. Seems like he may be on the 'out' list.
It is not realistic, no way Leicester will pay Jones what we are paying him. Worth a try from our perspective but why would any team take Jones off our hands?

Don’t write it on a public forum, they could be reading and change their mindThat would be a great swap, get a good young reliable defender in and get an average sick note out. Jones has got to be still worth at least £15-20m in todays market, or at least hopefully Leicester will be silly enough to buy that.
50K?

Exactly. Ridiculous wage for Jones.
Adding Jones to the deal is too good to be true.
Reads like it’s a punishment for Leicester. My ITK source has laid out the Jones offer.
Apparently we pay £80m for Maguire, but if we finish outside the top 4, or if Maguire doesn't play 80% of games, then they have to buy Jones for £20m next summer.
Its a reverse performance incentive.Reads like it’s a punishment for Leicester.

Christ.
Brendan Rogers signed Mario Balotelli and Christian Benteke in fairness.Leicester cant be that dumb, actually depends on his wages. If they menage to have him fit for 20 games straight ( yea right ), they could do a scam, boost his value and sell him on first chance possible.

Was thinking the same myself being hoping for us to get rid of him for a long time matePlease make this happen!
I for one would too and suspect there are quite a few others around here who feel the same mate.I can't imagine how much i would celebrate seeing the back of Phil Jones.
Two birds with one stone as the saying goes mate, I'd be absolutely ecstatic. Was thinking the same myself being hoping for us to get rid of him for a long time mate
What are the mail on about here? They say we've got Maguire and also that there's no deal in place. Even by the Mail's standards this is drivel.
They're saying, badly worded, that after we seal Harry we'll go for Bruno.“After sealing deal for Harry Maguire”?
We haven’t “sealed” any deal for Harry Maguire yet.
Hope this is true that we have put in a bid and if so hope we put one in that matches their valuation soon.
Agree De Ligt would have been a lot better value signing but there was not much chance of getting him with no Champions League to offer him I thought the fee was £80m. Thanks for giving me the correct fee. I dont think he is worth anywhere near £90m. But it is a crazy market and with there being so much available in the league and the so called smaller teams don't have to sell. That is why they ask extortionate prices, I prefer value as much as the next fan but we have to come to the sad realisation that we will have to pay whatever the selling club is asking for if we are desperate to sign the player or move onto another target mate.90million? When De Ligt was only 65million?
