the answer is this woman

Came to post this, she’s meant to be an incredibly savvy negotiator.

Funny how Chelsea are great at selling players, but we get a pretty similar deal to what atletico did on the table with Lukaku and no one wants it!

Actually it's quite similar to Inter's Lukaku offer. Atletico will pay Chelsea around £10m for the 18-month loan + an obligation to buy for £48m. Inter's offer for Lukaku was a two-year loan for €10m with an obligation to buy for €60m.

(With 18-month loan fee included)

Exactly, I know you could argue lukaku offers a bit more, but no one really wants him leading the line.

According to our redcafe transfer experts the offer for Lukaku was "pathetic" and "a joke" while in reality it was a very solid first bid.

This club really needs to be more open to loaning players out, let's say we Loan Lukaku out this season with a 10-15 million fee to an Italian club, he bangs the goals in and then next summer you have multiple Italian clubs queuing up to sign him for 70+ million or more if the market gets even crazier, should have done that with Darmian in the January window considering he was overlooked for almost the entire second half of the season(and first half), he could have had a good spell in Italy and the club could have finally have gotten that 10 million they seem to be holding out for.

It's not a win-win situation

Inter proposes a loan where they will buy him at the end of the loan for an agreed sum, so it doesn't really matter how many goals he bangs in, the deal is already agreed so the fee won't be increased anyway and he won't be available for someone else to sign either.

If you loan him out without the club having agreed to buy him after the loan period ends, what if he fails miserably ?

It's a chance you take just like Chelsea did with loaning Morata to Atletico, it's hard not seeing Lukaku succeeding in Seria A under manager that wants him over a prolific goalscorer like Icardi because he fits the way he wants to play perfectly, where as he knows he's out of favour with how Ole wants to play and obviously plays a big part in why he really wants to move on as he's not a guarantee starter here.

It's fine margins if the window closes and we sell Pogba 120+ and buy Longstaff, Saul and Fernandes for 200'ish we're laughing.

If we just buy Longstaff and and keep an unhappy Pogba we could be in trouble.

if we keep Pogba and get Longstaff and Fernades I guess we are somewhere in between :p.

We're just going have to see where we are once the window shuts.

No point fannying about. We should activate the release clause on Saul and then it's up to the player whether he wants to come or not.

People seem to think the Italian league is like some sort of non league u15s standard, and that Lukaku will therefore score heavily.
Seemingly ignoring that it's much more technical, less space to run into, and he can't control a football most of the time.

It’s the other way around. We first need to know if he’d join. Otherwise we’ve just signaled to everyone we’ve got 150m to spend on individual deals and might end up embarrassed yet again.

Would love to know what journalists mean when they write preparing a bid.

I imagine Ed looking for a pen and then a napkin to write a number on and then push it across the table to Newscastle!

Come on now, you're being silly downplaying the importance of preparation here, you guys really need to get some perspective.

Think about the envelope, you think hes just going to slide a napkin of this importance across the table? What if there's a spillage? Disaster, that's what.

Also the paperclips, you didn't think of the paperclips you lune. I imagine an offer of this magnitude is going to need more than one napkin, hence they're going to need to be held together so not to confuse the selling party. What colour? Red, black, standard? I'm not nearly knowledgeable enough to hazard a guess.

What about the cologne to spritz into the envelope to really wow the recipient? Musky or citrus notes?

Leave it to the experts I say and have faith in the process.

Rumours of a falling out with Simeone/assistant.
Switched to Stellar agency recently (Jonathan Barnett - Bale's agent)
And now this link.

Is it too early to get my hopes up for this one?
I hadn’t heard of these rumours. Tell me more...

FFS now you’re just taking the piss with some of these tweets.

To be fair at least he's not spamming the thread with 10-15 tweets in a row anymore. On the other hand though contract renewal tweets surely don't qualify as transfer news?

One for the mods to have a think about maybe.
