Inter are trying it on with us. Expect this to go on until window closes. I hope some other clubs come in for Lukaku.

Inter lowballing us and want to push the payments back 3 years. They can feck right off.

I think James, Wan-Bissaka, Longstaff, Bruno and an experienced CB would be a pretty positive transfer window tbh. Good mix of young players and additions in areas we really need (not entirely sold on Longstaff mind you). Don't think that's too unrealistic either.

Exactly, if Perisic, at 29 was worth 52m in the market two years ago, what do you think they would want for Lukaku if they had him in the market with today's prices? He's, what 26, should be entering his prime, proven goalscorer etc; they'd want 120m minimum but instead want him on a two year loan where they'd weasel out or try to negotiate the price down.

They didnt want to sell. We are actively looking to get rid of Lukaku. Big difference. Its not a great deal but why keep a player who clearly doesnt want to be here over a few million quid.

adding both Bruno and Longstaff, and keeping Pogba, along with another CB... i'd be content with the window. we would still have issues up front but we can rectify that next summer.

we don't really need to sell at all. not when there's hardly any other strikers available who are better than Lukaku. Lukaku just wants to play and frankly he should if all his competition is is Rashford.

I don't think we are. I think we would happily sell him but that as it stands Ole is happy to have him (though moreso as an impact sub than first teamer).

wr are not looking to selll though.

Barsa and Atleti already negotiate for Griezmann. Barcelona would pay 6 extra million (126) so that the payment can be fractioned

Maybe we're funding this by signing Aubameyang? Would make sense especially with Lukaku seemingly on his way out.

Auba should have been the signing we made two seasons ago when we bought Lukaku. Unfortunately, Jose would have no idea how to play a striker like that and we targeted two seemingly decent target men instead.

But now, he's two years older and at 30 he is only going to get slower. For someone who relies so heavily on pace, I don't think we should be spending that type of money on him.

That 25% potentially isn't far off covering longstaff if the fee for him turns out to be true. Not sure i see him going for much more than 50 million though
They wanted 50 mill plus for AWB. Zaha is way more important to them and is an attacker. 60-70 mill minimum especially since they have to pay us 25% of whatever fee they receive

I'm sorry, really sorry, I know this is not tranfes tweet, but made me laugh very loud, though It might cheer you up, sorry

:lol::lol:

Best young wing prospect after Sancho, and should be available for a reasonable fee. We should be going all out for him. We could have a great team with a strong British core in the next few years if Ole plays his cards right.

We aren't signing Aubameyang. It would go against what we seem to be building towards. He's 30, very reliant on his pace and misses a lot of chances despite being Arsenal's main man. Better off going for someone younger or cheaper.

I agree. He has been fairly heavily linked with us though. Maybe Ole wants an experienced head to help Greenwood, Rashford, etc. Who knows.
