I don't get it either. They're taking the piss with that offer. They can't even muster enough money to have a semi decent amount upfront initially.
I don't really get the need for the loan part. Why not just offer to buy him and pay in installments? Does it mean we pay his wages for a year? €10m probably doesn't cover his wages if that's the case and would be completely unacceptable.

I doubt we would be paying his wages. It's probably so they don't have to show it on the books for a few years to get around FFP.
Can't see how that is a good deal for us. In 2 years he will have one year left on his contract. Let's say inter sends him back after then that means we will have gotten 3 years of service from him for the amount we paid for him. If we needed to free up our wage bill to sign a player like Messi Ronaldo or Neymar I could understand. I'd rather we kept him then. He is pretty effective in the box. He just needs creative players around him

We get rid of a player who has openly said he doesn't want to be there and who was signed for the previous manager's style. We free up space and funds to get a replacement.
We may have internal budgets but if our finance team have a guaranteed €75m coming in I'm sure we would be able to reinvest it in a player more suited to how we will be looking to play.
