The detail in the negotiation is key, with us retaining the clause. For all the armchair specialist transfer negotiators - note should be taken as to why it ‘took so long’. A £50m deal and still owning 25% of Zaha is brilliant work from us.
And in late June, the deal is not exactly ‘too late’ for anything but muppet appetites anyway.
