Delaney claims if De Gea goes we will try and sign Onana from Ajex for £40m as we don't want to pay £100m for Oblak. Personally based on what I saw from him in the CL, I'd rather give Henderson a go with Romero as an option if he struggles then if we decide we need a keeper in 12 months we can sign one. Maybe Onana is a lot better than he looked to me in the few games I saw him though.

I want to see concrete interest in a RW, I hope we aren't planning to count on Dan James or (ugh) Lingard again playing there.

I assume that is where Daniel James will play. Sancho was reportedly our top target, but he changed his mind about a move.

What didn't you like from Onana in the Champions League games?

He was very good in both legs against Spurs, he commands his box very well and is good at dealing with crosses. Only thing that looked a bit iffy was his distribution.

He looked a complete mental case in the games against Spurs. Didn't do anything wrong but just looked erratic to me. Weird time for this article to come out given the Oblak rumours yesterday

Which is strange, considering he plays for Ajax and learnt his trade in Barca's youth teams.

I thought distribution was what he was supposed to be good at.

I would have been ok with Pogba leaving if it happened now or even earlier, but I will be so pissed off if it happens during pre season or close to the start of the Premier League, and we can't get a proper replacement in.

12 months ago Dan James had never played a league game. He had a decent first season without being massively productive in the championship, I don't think he's anywhere near ready to be our first choice winger.

Neither do I, but that's where we are (or so it appears, anyway - still time to avoid another disasterous window).

Coutinho type money please Madrid. If you want him so badly then cough up the green.

We don't want any cast offs.

Money goes to paying Glazer debt. I prefer to get players in return. We have plenty of money, we need new players.

If Pogba pushes it, he's going to sever all ties with United. I cant remember the last player to push for a transfer away from United in such circumstances.
Ronaldo came out of it ok. I don't think it will work out the same for Pogba, there won't be a lot of clamour for him to come back.

I know one of the reddit 'ITK' mentioned him for £40 million a whilst back, but i dunno if that was from a much earlier article. Either way the rumour we're in for him, if Dave leaves, has been around for a few weeks.

No it doesn't. Our debt is still huge. They haven't paid that much off tbh in 14 years.

And they have invested into the team. We are just not very good at spending money. £700n in last 6/7 years is big big money.
