Yeah, but he’s no Ramsey. Wages is obviously correlated to player quality as well (or should be)He is on a free, and Juve gave Ramsey much more.

Even if this was the case (which it isn’t) you’ve just completely contradicted yourself. It’s hard to take your comments on Pogba seriously to be honest. There always seems to be an element of bias to your posts on him.I don't hate Pogba. It's a very strong word. I just don't think he's as good as fans on this forum value him to be. If clubs wanted to spend big for him there would have been a bidding war for him back at Juventus. Real themselves pulled out when it got to stupid prices. No club is putting money where their mouths are now either, despite Pogba's best efforts to generate interest since the start of this season. There's a reason why Real would spend 100m on Hazard with one year on his contract, and reportedly offer cash plus player deals for Pogba instead. They'd rather spend their £100m on actual £100m output on the pitch.
Doesn't stop clubs showing genuine interest and making bids - look at Suarez, Coutinho, Ronaldo, etc.
As a brand sure. My post refers to him as a standalone player.
"staggering wage offer",I though it's around 500k.
£170k a week apparently with a €5 million sign on fee

Don't say anything to his beloved.Seems like you'd be content with a team of 11 Smallings.
12mil euros for an Italian international fullback is overvaluing?I actually really feel for Darmian. He seems like a decent guy who wants to go home and play football but United are overvaluing him so much that it isn't happening.

It’s a lot for Serie A
With Lukaku's goal scoring record, for club and country, there should hopefully always be suitors/interest.Gues Lukaku stays then.
By that chaps logic messi isn't worth it because no-one bids for him
Is it that bad? I genuinely us expected to fork out £250,000 for him.
For 5 years, that’ll do.
If rabiot doesn't work out and we sell him in a year or two his wages will have been covered. We need to get a grip on our wage structure if guys like rashford think they deserve 200 a week. Best way to do that is get rid of sanchez
Theo Hernandez, Keylor Navas, James Rodriguez or Gareth Bale are the Real players mentioned

"Sensible wage offer" doesn't really work when you're trying to get as many clicks as possible.£170k a week for Rabiot sounds about right.
I not sure if I would go out in a limb and say he's the better player. Herrera was fantastic for us. Rabiot however is oh 24 so in theory it would be a better investment for us to give him 170k a week on a 4 +1 than to offer Herrera high wages and have zero resale value. I can understand the economics in the "swap "170k is less than what Herrera wanted and Rabiot is a much better player.
We did give Sanchez a big lump sum. He pocketed something stupid like 20mil +£170k is perfectly reasonable for a player of his quality and age. He’s got his issues but if he came here, you’d see that he’s light years ahead of the likes of McT, Fred and even Herrera. That’s not to say he’s exceptional (just comparing him to what we have) but he does have the potential to be exceptional.
Think it’s smart to give him an initial upfront payment too, always wondered why we didn’t do that with Sanchez and keep his wages lower - would have upset the Apple cart far less.

Ehhhhh, he was OK.
Just our standards are so low that he looked very good... He was excellent in terms of pocketing a player but didn't excel in much outside of that.

Not sure about the origins. Mirror quote Le10 Sport, but Le10 Sport quotes something called Soccer Link (whatever that is).
