A rejection would be an offer which is turned down by the selling club.

He was a Liverpool player. Therefore he has previous connections with Liverpool, I'm not sure the difficulty with understanding that.

Michael Owen played for United. He means a ton more to Liverpool than Danny Ings.

.FC Barcelona and SC Braga have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Francisco Trincão who will join the club on 1 July 2020. The transfer fee is 31 million euros and the player will sign a contract with the Club for the next five seasons, until the end of the 2014/25 campaign with a buy-out clause of 500 million euros.

You cant reject an enquiry, it is essentially a question, which can only be answered and not rejected.
