This is a great example of future planning.

One top young transfer per season. Buy them early so the price is reasonable, instead of letting stepping stone clubs getting them first and hiking the valuation a year or two down the line. Sure, they've paid just over 100m in three years, but it's better than paying 200-250m instead if they end up as good as their talent suggests.

Can’t wait until Rodrygo leaves Real, just to see the headlines.

I mean, we've done that, just with lads a bit younger? Mejbiri, tried for Cherki, Bellingham atm. We were looking at Nathan Collins supposedly too.

We'll revisit this in 5 years.

Hoogewerf was high rated at Ajax also.

Noam Emeran too. Go back a couple of years and Chong, Traore, and Puigmal were all rated highly enough before joining. We've literally always done that. Caf whipping boy Pereira was a very highly rated player when we brought him in from PSV. Januzaj too.

Inter's transfer policy looks like a disaster waiting to happen to me. Completely wreckless. No way can signing that many players, some real dufffers too, in such a short period of time be a good thing. It will all come tumbling down.

Yeah, our youth recruitment is about the only thing we have got right in the last 5 years.

Do you guys reckon we actually go for these players who are offered? I wonder what Woodwards day is like.

Contacting noodle companies in places like Qatar and China to see if they would like to be one of our sponsors

Lyon about to confirm the signing of Karl Toko Ekambi, 27-year old striker from Villarreal. Dembélé on his way out then?

Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Mundo Deportivo) claims that PSG are interested in signing Koulibaly for €70m.
