Strengthen your muscles, body
Work hard in training and gym
Simple science

He himself is to blame for majority of his injuries

Hmmm, no. Strengthening your muscles helps you get stronger but ligament, tendon and generally, soft tissue damage can't heal through training and gym. Being more muscular is actually liable to make you more prone to incur such types of damage/injury. Simple science. If he's dealing with a bone break ( as long as it's not along the joint ), he'll be ok. It is indeed very simple science, but his injuries are not related to a lack of professionalism.

Damn, RM are ruthless. I think history will prove that getting rid of Ronaldo last season was the right decision even if they have to re-build for a year or two. Barca still have structural problems (high wages etc.) that was covered up for a season because of their domestic success but will eventually come back to bite them.

Makes me wonder how we've managed to feck it up so bad on the transfer market / contract negotiation side of things post-Fergie.

Caf twitter account needs to grow, there are thousands of other accounts out there with over 100K followers who tweet stuff by any Tom, Dick and Harry. We are stricter but if we didn't include the Daily Mail, there'd be bare bones to tweet about. Bad enough that the majority of the stories right now are coming from The Sun and other places are citing them, but we're not going to tweet them.

Van de Beek should definitely be available. He's actually different from Bruno Fernandes. While Van de Beek has been mostly deployed as a second striker this season, probably because of his goal scoring output and terrific movement and also, to accommodate Frenkie and Schone in the midfield, he's at his best in the central midfield, either as a no 6 or RCM whereas Bruno Fernandes looks like a no 10. Both could play together however I don't really fancy a no 10.

With our scout they would think VDB is a number 10 and would not even consider him.

When he moves and plays as a cm and is one of the best in the world we would hear from OGS “we looked at him but he was a number 10 and we was looking for a cm.”

Sportswitness?

So will you be happy if we missed out on Sancho, Bruno Fernandes, Matthijs de Ligt and João Cancelo, but somehow managed to sign Griezmann, João Félix, AWB and Koulibaly in the window?

Ruthless or not, they might have a big headache for he next 3 years.

Gareth Bale : "I've got three years contract left. If they want me to go they'll have to pay me €17m a year. Otherwise I'll stay. Doesn't matter if I don't play, I'll just play golf.’’

I'd be very happy to take either four . Doubt we will get any of them though.

Atleast Sanchez doesn't openly say shit like that - "Doesn't matter if I don't play, the club is footing Atom and Humber's dogfood bills".

De Ligt has the attitude you want though. He is quite the beast in a position we desperately need. I wouldn't mind us pushing the boat out for him wage wise whilst having the cheaper talented players on the side.

De Ligt+Felix can be the big money transfers.

Sessengon, James, Longstaff can be on moderate wages.

Tottenham lead the race for Tanguy Ndombélé!

Good player to have in the midfield. He was good against Mancity. I wouldn't mind him here but my mind is zeroed on Tonali, Van de Beek and Ceballos because they would be cheaper and look good too.

If we managed to sign Joao Felix, De Ligt, and a bunch of young British players including Sancho I'd be happy.

. Why? He’s 19 and should sign himself up to a contract befitting his talent. He’ll be on it for the next 4 years minimum.
Whatever contract he's offered now he can clearly upgrade on it in a years time if his performances warrant it or he can start to look elsewhere.
The more I hear/read reports on De Ligt, and the fact Raiola is his agent which should ring alarm bells already, the more I think he's going to be a money chasing journey man.
Sure, obviously he's not alone with that.

Typical mercenary. He's living the dream at Madrid hence I can't blame him. Woodward had better not move close to him.

You wouldn't want to make the most money possible when changing jobs?
Sure, but Barca would hardly be offering him a paupers wage will they ?
With one report I've read, the deal Barca have offered makes him one of the best paid defenders in Europe already.
