Are you trying to say Inter have more financial backing than Man Utd. At least on paper?
 
At this point United are basically an experiment to see how badly a big club can be run, we are shattering new lows everyday and the only hope left is that at some point we will bottom out and we just need to wait for that day

I do remember not long ago big dick Ed trying to show everyone how big his dick was saying 'we can do things other clubs can only imagine' or something along those lines. Why isn't that fool backing it up?

The climate has changed dramatically since then and all of a sudden fees of over £100 million were being paid for the likes of Dembele.

It was a daft thing to say that's for sure but people like you are morons as well. We can't do that, it's obvious. We were quoted over £100 million for Sancho. If a big fee was still £50 million then it may be a different story.

Will be really interesting to see how City start replacing their squad seeing as the likes of Sterling, Silva and Aguero were all bought for far less than a similar player would go for now, let alone in a couple of years. If City were buying Sterling this window for example, how much would he cost?

The bubble has to burst at some point and part of it will be clubs point blank refusing to pay which may well be what we're doing at the moment. Frustrating but in a way it's understandable.

I'd hazard a guess that it isn't just the fees either, it's wages and the commitment of players being in the books long term. It seems like we're trimming down drastically, looking and bringing through the talent we have at the club and being cautious in the market. It sucks but its the situation we're in and may well be for the next 12/18 months or longer.

Whilst I agree, at some point the bubble will burst, we're a long way from that mark yet.

Also clubs are now rich enough that if you don't pay the money they'll just keep the player and let him go for free at the end of his contract. We're seeing more and more of this happening with higher profile players. It may well become much more normal that players see out their contracts and move on at the end of them rather than clubs paying the extortionate fees required to get a transfer in beforehand.

Because when he made that claim, he had a point. Remember, we paid a world record figure for Pogba.

But since then, the transfer market has gone completely crazy and we actually no longer have the edge that we possibly had when he made that claim.

We tried.

We signed 3 players when Ole said he hoped for another "1 or 2". Eriksen and Dybala were the ones we got closest to, but neither wanted to come.

I know he's not a lot of people's cup of tea but keeping him for the season is the smart decision. It would not be fair to depend on young Brandon and Dalot as the only back ups for full back. This time next year, with more experience for the lads it's going to be a different story but now Young can still be an important player.
