I do. #believe.

They got 100m for Ronnie and if they get another 100 mil for Bale they can easily spend 300-400M this summer, taking in consideration the fact that they really didn't spend a lot in the previous windows also. It's a good deal for them imo.

Pique is 31 and on decline. They're starting the transition to have Legnlet and Umititi as CB pairing. They won't drop him immediately but will happen gradually.

France are pretty lucky with CBs. Lenglet and Umtiti at Barca, Varane at Real, Laporte at City, Koscielny at Arsenal, Pavard possibly at Bayern next year. I am pretty sure they have some young ones coming through in the coming years too.

We need to accept we're not getting more than 30m Euros combined for Darmian and Blind and move on. We have to start moving forward as a squad, and cannot have another season with this pair taking up space and collecting wages.

Koscielny is finished. They are blessed in that position though.

It's part of the negotiation process. If we accepted the fees Juve and Ajax wanted from the start, we wouldn't even get £10m for either. We know that both clubs (along with several others) want the player, so I can't see them staying past this summer if we want them out.

That would be surprising. They are quite thin in midfield. Sold Matuidi last season, Pastore left now. They must have someone else lined up
I doubt Tuchel is happy about letting him go. A case of Rabiot not wanting to renew (speculation ofc) and him only having one year left of his contract is more likely the reason why they'd sell now. PSG going in hard for Kanté wouldn't exactly be surprising now. Weigl makes sense but that's more a case of replacing Motta. Can see 2 new midfielders in for them.

Not just CB's their depth is insane in the attacking positions as well (as shown by the likes of Martial being left behind during this WC). Feels like they're about to go through another golden generation

Exactly. And they can get Neymar and Hazard for that money and freshen up their team.

He's coming home
Don't you dare, I can see it now, United twitter team go mad with a picture of Lingard, with the caption "no it's not coming home, He's..." and then announce Pique.

This is exactly the sort of thing we don't need, yes pique was a great defender, but he was made great by Puyol, he had no leader qualities to him; he was lead, first Puyol, then Xavi, then Iniesta.

We need someone to grab the game by the scruff of the neck, take names, not play games. The solution to this is simple, bring Vidic out of retirement

Great coup by Chelsea that. Simply brilliant having Kante and Jorginho in Midfield with Sarri as Manager. Hazard will have a decision to make in terms of Madrid or new exiting project at Chelsea.

Also happy City ain't landing Jorginho, that would have been too much to handle for us in the league.

Just want to see Jorginho run notes against his Chelsea shirt shouting "Money Taaalks!" with Pep weeping in a corner behind him.

This is very worrying. Sarri is a top manager and plays attacking football. Chelsea will be a real force to be reckoned with if they get the right players. Kante and Jorginho in midfield is already a great platform to build from.

Every team in the top 6 will be a force if they get the right players...

This Chelsea team is strong on most lines of the pitch. Hazard, Willian, Morata up front. Cristiansen, Rudiger, Cahill, David Luiz at the back. Alonso, Moses at wingbacks. Curtois in goal.

They fecked up when they sold Matic to us to buy Bakayoko and Drinkwater. They messed up the midfield. If they rectify that by buying Jorginho they could challenge again.

Biggest problem for them last year was the fall out between manager and the board. The team didn't seem arsed and Conte had lost his fire. If Sarri lights a fire under their arses again they could aim high. They'll need Morata to fire on all cylinders though, they won't end up very high if their main striker fails to pull his weight. Unless they replace him, which I don't think they'll do yet.

Not concerned about Chelsea, the club is rotten to the core. The player power there is ridiculous and means a manager will never last longer than a couple of years. That said, Hazard will probably have his biennial wonder season, there's something I detest about his character and I think he could have a lot more influence there than is generally reckoned, anyone else have that feeling?
