Someone on Reddit claimed to be ITK. Say's he's been working with United reps on a deal for Kohler to be our sleeve sponsor and they mentioned that we'd met Griezmann's release clause and the deal was almost done for him to move to United.
The guy posted this about a week ago and said if we didn't believe him, all we had to do was wait for the sponsor announcement to confirm his account.

Lemar wouldn't be replacing Griezmann. He'd be playing on the left side of midfield so it's not a replacement. Doesn't mean Griezmann is not leaving though. I think if Griezmann does leave they will get someone else to play with Costa (maybe even punt on Martial?).

In 3 years Jorginho won't cost much whereas Kovacic would cost top dollar. They could use Kovacic for 6-7 years in his prime years. It's a completely different deal.
They don't want to give 60m forJorginho not because they lack money but because he's not worth such money. Kovacic is a different case because he's younger.

To be fair you don't know why they won't pay the money. City do seem to not want to shell out over the odds for anyone.
