I feel Zlatan leaving might actuall Benefit us. Will give us a chance to put all our eggs in our basket with Lukaku.

If he does go let's hope he wins us the Europa.
You could be right but then a real "leader" should be purchased similar to Ibrahimovic, but it doesn't have to be a CF. Who it could be is a bit hard to say, but maybe a CB if there is one with that type. Think that it would be needed to be able to win this coming season or else I have a feeling it could take 1 or 2 seasons before a new win would come. But it's just a feeling.

I have a feeling Zlatan ain't leaving till next summer. He wants to win the league. Always see him talking about winning the league wherever he's been

City need another 2 centre backs. I couldn't give a hoot if they signed new Cafu and Roberto Carlos as they'd still leak goals left right and centre.

Wouldn't it just be centre, in that scenario

Didn't zlatan himself hint he doesn't like to leave without finishing what he came for, in this case winning the league?
I think the main reason he came here was to prove to everyone that he can be a top player in England as well. He knows that winning the league here won't be that easy and with just few years left in his career, he might want to go somewhere else for a last challenge.

If he wins us the Europa, he'll be back for one more shot at the CL. That is definitely unfinished business for him.

He's not stupid. He knows that unless we have about 6 new starters around him next year there is no chance of winning CL here. He can see quite clearly that just competing for the title is going to be tough enough.

Well that's disappointing. Not like SW to engage in that sort of thing. They normally just aggregate transfer stories.
IMHO Sportwitness significantly deteriorated. They used to be quite critical when they sifted through transfer fiction from various media outlet but become more and more a clickbait machine. SAD! :wenger:

Cadena SER: Barca and Bellerin want a deal this summer. Arsenal want 40m Euros, Barca willing to pay 25m Euros. Turan might be included.

Oo needs a big summer!

As long as we get 2 attackers capable of getting goals in double digits I'm happy.

Upon reflection and after watching the post-match Sky interview, post-match MUTV interview and post-match press conference, where Jose made no such remarks, and that Twitter being an unofficial account with a history of conjuring quotes from thin air, I am starting to smell a whiff of bull excretion.

Happy to be proven wrong if someone can find where he actually said that.

We all love transfers, but he needs to get more out of what he's got!
Unlike a lot on here, I actually think Mourinho is doing a good job for his first season. But I do agree with you, he does!

Transfers aren't going to help unless we have a good squad for them to join.

And as for the transfers, I'd prefer less marquee names this Summer and get very good solid players that we actually need. Spending £90m on Griezmann would be fun and all, but I'd rather see 3 very good players come in with that who strengthen weak areas.

I'd say slightly below par, but we've got another piece of silverware so that's not to be sniffed at!

I totally agree with you regarding the type of transfers we need to start making, it's okay having a few marquee signings (Pogba being one) but too many and there would be too much ego to control! We need to find the right balance if we're going to succeed longterm, i have a feeling we're just going to continue to throw money at this squad though and not plan for anything longer than the next 3 years.

Ducker says we'll sell Januzaj this summer, with PSG, Monaco, Marseille, Lyon, Inter, AC Milan, Juventus, Roma and Napoli all interested to some degree.

Ducker adds that there could be interest from other English clubs as well, but Januzaj is thought to prefer a move abroad.
