Why should other Adriano be off Pippa's hand if Gandalf meant the other Adriano. Both get their bids on their players.

Because we can't prove what Gandalf said is true and it would be unfair to Pippa if he managed to psyche Gandalf into pushing up the bid

Pippa had a 10m bid on the Brazilian Adriano.

Gandalf thought it was the Barcelona Adriano and increased the bid.

As we know, no slots are open at the moment so a new player, that is the Barca Adriano cannot be auctioned yet.

If it is simply a matter of one more slot, I open one more to resolve this. Both Adrianos can be bidded for. If any manager thinks they are good value, proceed ahead to bid. The players have not been given or taken away from them. Anyone can still bid for them

He's played in many positions, is genuinely ambidextrous, and there's no specific boundaries in this draft. Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Figo, Ronaldinho all of them are technically midfielders.

I thought Adriano could be considered as a jack of all trades, too. Pippa was joking too much about this bloke, I thought it was play acting to keep others off him (he has no fullbacks either). I didn't want him to get a full back/winger for so cheap, so I increased it to an enticing 19m. If he bids, he's exposed, if not, I could put Adriano on my left.

And it turns out to be a fiasco.

Yes, and since we can't rule that out, it would be unfair to Pippa who might have successfully psyched Gandalf into making the move (Pippa seems very pleased at getting rid of Adriano, of course he could disprove the pysche hypothesis by putting in the same 10 m bid for the Inter Adriano)
 
I don't care.. let it be any Adriano Gandalf wants it to be.
