I'm sorry, but I really didn't see any point in the closure of the transfer forum. Not because it's crowded, but it would've been a good place to discuss the transfers that has been done during the summer transfer season. Granted, there would've been bunch of muppets, but the transfer forum also offers good discussion regarding to the good and bad signings of other teams.
You think the speculation is going to stop? It never does, there'll be a bunch of stories in the Sudays like there always is, they'll be posted in the football and United forum as the place they belong to is closed
I'm not a great fan of the transfer forum but it does its job, it also bothers me less then the number of threads from posters who profess their dislike of the transfer forum in the transfer forum, well done them.

Just see how it goes for now, if it starts spilling out into the other sections then they can always re-open it a little earlier than planned. There shouldn't be much to talk about now for a few weeks at least.

well, technically those players have now signed for teams, so they should be discussed in the football forum. The transfer forum was designed to remove all the speculation from the football forums

I cant understand why all this hatred about the transfer forum. If you dont like it then dont post there. Its not that difficult isnt it?
No one hates it, but the madness of the 'experts' who get their information from Playstation and YouTube is staggeringly annoying.
When reasonable transfer talk is going on, no one has any problem with it. But there is so much ludicrousness in there it ceases to be funny after a while.
I'm sorry if the closure of the Transfer Forum harms your enjoyment of the forums.
Well it didnt actually harmed my enjoyment on the forum (well there are other forums around if I dont like this), but it did damaged the freedom of speech which redcafe is renowned for. I hope that Im wrong but Im feeling that ppl in here you are more tolerated when they insult other posters with their family and nationality (happened here loads of time) rather then when they speak about transfers.

When the World Cup forum got closed (and deleted) no one claimed that their freedom of speech had been removed.
If you'd like to point out insults that you think are serious, feel free and I can take a look at them.

Ive been here since 2000 mate. Older posters know what Im saying and there is little to add things on. I guess dirty olga is still around pretending to be my wife or something of that kind. Had anyone stopped that? Of course not.
Anyway The forum is for all of you to maintain. If posters dont like it they move on as they always did (there is plenty of competition around). Stating that as a (relatively) old poster I dont see this as a wise move.
