Fixed, check through the TP list if you can and tell me if you have some modern players you'd want TP-rated as well.

.Regarding the TP list it might be a good idea for everybody to keep an eye out for players - not on the list - who would be obvious vote pullers, if you catch my drift. Players who are bound to attract Caf voters beyond what can be called an objective assessment of their quality.
I don't mean players who might get pure sympathy votes, of course, but players who are genuinely somewhere near a TP status but who would be disproportionally popular among the voters here.

Indeed, United or no United doesn't matter either but would be good if we could eliminate them well.

That top player list looks not bad. I can only think of possibly adding Lahm and Thiago Silva. If i was removing any, probably Hansen (seeings this is a United forum), Koeman (underrated on here), maybe Ruggeri (also underrated), Gerrard (same reason as Hansen) and Rui Costa.

Another suggestion Annah is having no players born after 1990. Its annoying having players like Neymar, Varane, Gotze and Hazard in these drafts and possibly for scan voters being rated higher than players that had good long careers.

Agree with all those suggestions. The odd man out is Sol, perhaps - but everything else is spot on.

Yeah, I debated all combinations of Campbell, Terry and none of them, but ultimately I think voters tend to be more negative towards Terry`s pace issues than Campbell`s distributive mediocrity.
Campbell had some good CB`s who repeatedly failed to take his job as England CB, even for short periods of time.
Didn't add Ibrahimovic, he has never had a good draft and he doesn't rack up votes above his qualities. Nor did I add Bale and Campbell for the same reason.

I don't think the likes of Campbell or even Bergkamp are obvious vote winners from what we've seen in the last few drafts.

Balu said the same thing but I think with all the first-timers involved it may be making it more difficult for them. There won't be any real benefit in playing Neymar above Overmars, if anything people tend to be quite hard on those young players.

Added Vidal, removed Bergkamp. Will hear more opinions on the two though as Bergkamp is great enough to be tp-rated but like you say underrated enough to not be there.
Vidal is far from good enough to make the TP-list, I am not sure just how overrated he is but unless others brings it up I will follow your opinion on it.
What you said there actually sums it up, I think:
Bergkamp: Good enough to be TP rated - in my opinion - but his status will not make him a vote puller.
Vidal: Not good enough to be TP rated - but flavour of the month to the extent that he WILL be a vote puller.
I take back Bergkamp, he`s kind of a liability positionally in this type of draft, as are a lot of 10`s.
But Vidal you can use in a 2-man midfield and not be seen as overrun, which is a massive advantage when scanning someone`s squads. I`d consider Yaya Toure for the same reason, though many see him as a bit spacey for that role, I suppose.

I don't think Vidal was rated enough in the last two drafts to be TP rated here. We don't need perfect TP lists anyway, a few gems between the not listed players make the auction part interesting. Let's have a few bidding wars for those players and if they are that important to some of the managers, they will cost a lot of money.
Personally I wouldn't want Vidal in the TP list. I mean, I don't rate him to be of match-winning quality in terms of influencing the votes. He will go for a lot of money as well if he is actually rated highly, so that part of the equation will solve most issues rather than the TP-system.
2 more that probably shouldn't be on the list are:
Ferrara: very underrated on here and plenty of defenders already on.
Riquelme: Anyone that gets him and is able to build the right team around him, fair fecks to them. A bit of a poisoned chalice i think.

Up to others, but I agree that Vidal is maybe a bit pointlessly TP-rated. Never seen him be rated among the very finest in this era.
Just because people make fun of him right now doesn't mean, they can't judge his peak anymore. He might not be rated fairly on the Caf at the moment, but he sure as hell is still rated higher at his peak than Vidal who so far has done feck all in European competitions.
I´d add Stam and eventually Rio/Vidic to the CB list.

I would think it starts soon enough, basically you "Have to be" online once every 12 hours to be sure to not miss out on bids. So if you can be online once every 12 hours you should have no issues with the draft.

Which 8`s have been better than Vidal since the Davids/Vieira/Keane era? I'd say only Xavi, though I guess Vidal might not be preferred by all over Schweinsteiger, Seedorf, Yaya or Essien. That's decent depth, actually.
In general, I think there's a lot of decent 6's and a shit ton of 10's, but the death of the box to box midfielder means there are few 8's that look really fantastic between a DM and an AM, and Vidal is one.
