Transfer Deadline Day Summer 2014

Exactly, feck him, it's Falcao day.
Desperately need the defence and midfield sorting, too. I'd rather he bought a good centre back and defensive mid than splash out on Falcao, to be honest.

I'm not confident we will sign anyone else (not including Blind being confirmed), which will be a shame as after this whole window we still haven't brought in a top quality defensive midfielder, which would fix quite a few issues with the team. Not ideal, but you can't really argue to much with a window of Rojo, Herrera, Di Maria, Shaw and Blind. They all look to be good signings that improve us, though if that is it I'd expect us to make another signing in Jan.

Is Pogba (new contract) completely off the table? If we are going to go off the rails and start burning money...

Rather burn it on him than Falcao tbh. Even though i don't really want him back for several reasons.

Happy Jim White Day to one and all and good luck too!

Happy deadline day! Will be good to finally be done with it. Lets pray for a centre back!

Harry Redknapp is going to go crazy picking up other peoples trash, especially since he just sold the only quality player he had in his squad to Chelsea.

Schneiderlin, De Jong, Falcao (on loan). Hubba, hubba.

Just one more fix.. Please Woody, I'll never ask for anything again. Honest!

Erm, We've spent £150million and We've only bought 1 world class player in, so it's no surprise some people (Including myself) are still not satisfied. Shaw, Herrera and Blind are good players but It takes delusion to call them quality without even seeing them play.

We have signed very well how many world class players were available? We also took a huge step in repairing our centre midfield with signing 3 midfielders. Some people expecting us to suddenly turn in to a Real Madrid is not a reality at this present time. Maybe when we get the 11 strong we can start adding one/two per window of the finished article but as it stands we have taken a huge step forward this window.

Well said, every team needs the likes of Blind, Rojo etc. You can't have world class in every position. That would mean a whole new XI and a huge image loss.

Brilliant!! Don't you just love Deadline Day!! It's so popular I reckon it should be made a Public Holiday
It's labour day in USA, feck knows what it is but it means I get to have a day off on deadline day.

Bit confuesd as to why currently succesful teams like Real (Hernandez) and Dortmund (Kagawa) consider our surplus-to-requirement players are valuable when we don't!

Also why the hell are we sending Welbeck to Arsenal or Tottenham (who are already stronger than us)?

They are all good squad players that we will need for cover and for rotation once (if) we are back in Europe IMHO

We need to shift the likes of Fellaini, Clevs (get serious on the wage demands Tom), Anderson right now.

And then think about moving on the likes of Fletcher, Evans, and even perhaps Smalling once we've strengthened those areas further in the next window.

Kagawa fits Dortmund perfectly and he was excellent there before, he's exactly the sort of player Klopp gets the best out of.

Hernandez will be a bit part player for Real Madrid as well. We have Rooney and van Persie, they only have Benzema who needs a back up.

They are going on about Van der Vaart could be linked with QPR, isn't he injured and that is why Hamburg are after Lewis Holtby?

Welbeck gets loaned out (unnecessary IMO), opens the door for Falaco to united. Negredo goes to Valencia on Loan, City come into the picture. Juve still wants him but won't go over 20million loan. Woody buys Falcao loans him to Juve and gets Vidal in return. And Arsenal can watch all this happening right before their eyes. Delusional

Sure you can't make it more complicated?
