This is ideal for Schleck now. Evans is having to do all the work himself again now.
 
Agreed. Just backed him at 7.4 on Betfair. Cadel and Contador have buried themselves today and Andy won't stand in his way. Sanchez the danger.
 
It'll all be decided up to Alpe d'Huez. Andy will need a minute on Evans, and Fränk will need almost two.

Loving this. As soon as it looked like the peloton might come together again and they could get people working for them, Contador splits it all apart again.

This is a beautiful sight. Contador alone towards the top and Schleck and Evans in a direct duel between the two of them and no one else behind him for the yellow jersey.

They have destroyed all cohesion by pushing beyond their max and seeing who can keep going after it. Great to watch and huge plaudits to Evans, Contador, Andy Schleck and Voeckler. They've lifted this Tour to be the best one in many years.

edit: and as I was typing this, they've caught up with Andy and now Frank attacks.

This is what clean cycling looks like. People riding against their limits.
 
Congratulations to Cadel Evans!

Shlecks didn't have what it took today, and Evans even looked stronger than both of them at the end of the day.

Great to see Rolland take the stage, he's done an absolutely fantastic job for Voeckler through the entire Tour.
 
That's true, Sastre had the ride of his life as well. But have to say Evans looks as strong as ever this year, and he's really impressed me both today and yesterday.

It's really wide open though, but Andy will have to do the ride of his life to take it home.
 
What a race. That Rolland is definitly one for the future, the way he helped Voeckler on the mountains and them beating the 2 best climbers in cycling on Alpe d'Huez. My money is on Evans but with Andy Schleck in yellow who knows what he might be able to do in tomorrows TT.
 
Would love it if Evans took it. Seems like he's been around for ages and for him to win it in a competition with the Schelcks in form and Contador would be some accomplishment.
 
I hope Schelck has enough in his tank for the time trials tomorrow. I think right now Evans has the edge.
 
Contador would have hoped to get at least a minute or a minute and 20 seconds when he took the lead. It put in all the hard work for just 30 seconds. I hope he will lose more time in the time trials.
 
I kinda want Cadel Evans to win it because he is 34 and time is running out on him. Plus he has had to do so much work all by himself (I have never seen even one team mate try and help him) just to keep up with the other leaders.
 
Stunning ride by Evan. Yellow by a mile and finally the winner of the Tour. Well deserved IMO
 
Really don't like ending the tour (as a race) on a time trial.
 
I just finished watching the full replay. Really sad for Schelck but at the same time thrilled for Cadel Evans. A brilliant brilliant ride for Cadel Evans. The two stages when Andy really pushed cost him in the end. Now I really wish Contador will get stripped next month so Schelck will become Champion.
