This is an unusual weekend as Utd, the 2 clubs within 3 points and just above us and the 3 clubs within 3 points just below us, all play each other.

WHU v Brentford
Palace v Everton
Spurs v Utd

Depending on how the results of these 3 games go, we could end up in anywhere from 11th to 16th place.

So we ended up in 15th place after these fixtures.
Only West Ham below us, before the big gap to the bottom 4 teams.

Way to ponderous on the ball and when he gets a free header it looks more like a clearance.

He set up that chance for Garnacho and played some really smart passes. Was he brilliant? No. But in my opinion, he was our best player—though that’s not saying much, considering how poor the rest of the team was. Still, he was the brightest spark in an otherwise lacklustre performance.

He’s under pressure, the key question is if we give him what he wants, will he improve the team immeasurably, with 5 or 6 specialist players?

I’m not sure, he’s so stubborn and set in his way and methods, that his own inflexibility in his own system to get points and find a way to win is showing up massively, yes he was right to put a boot up Rashford’s rear end but that decision will backfire, should have kept him and then sold him in the summer? (The statement about his goalkeeper was naive at best!)

We have very little penetration and goal threat, he also is regularly making United Fan’s miserable most weekends.

He needs to maybe be giving the dreaded vote of confidence even though the club is so skint they can’t sack him until next season.

Moyes is a far more experienced PL manager that’s managed teams in Europe at semi final, CL 1/4 final and won a European trophy with a worse squad than we had when Amorim took over.

He let 2 attackers go out and none come in, Moyes would not have allowed that and Antony with another MOM performance tonight, yes Rashford and Antony were not good enough but make sure you have replacements before weakening the squad, that’s a rookie mistake?

I’m predicting another ten years of pain and misery to come. If the plan is to clear the debt and sacrifice winning trophies then we need to sell up to someone capable of doing both. To remain one of the biggest clubs in the world we can’t stay on the same trajectory of bad decisions and poor performances.

I get Amorim doesn’t have faith in the youth players and maybe doesn’t rate them, even still throw a couple of them on and give them 15/20 mins to change his mind. Casemiro was poor, Zirkzee was almost begging to come off near the end he was wrecked after putting so much into the game. Giving Chido 3 mins at the end of the game was pointless.
