Torres wants clarity after Chelsea nightmare

Would take him but for a fraction of the price. Still think he's a player you can't underestimate and has shown some nice form towards the back end of the season.

We all know he's a sensitive player for whatever reason and sounds like he's not been given the love at Chelsea. Liverpool showed that love to him especially that season where they chased us all the way. But yeh with that risk of form id have to say we'd pay a fraction of the price Chelsea did but still i think anything under £20m would not reflect his true quality...

Id love to see him at United with Rooney alongside him.
Hed get the service and he can link play.
Hes certainly not a spent force and IMO hes twice the alround footballer Hernandez will ever be.

I'd take him.

It's clear that he hasn't lost his pace - so there's no reason he can't be as good as ever. He is 28 though, and has been shit for a long time, so my top bid is £15M :D

Drogba is off.So it's a chance for Torres to be the main man or not.

I would take him for anywhere between 6-8 million

Clarity? What part of 'shit' does he not understand. He just just watch DVDs of the games for 'clarity'

Torres is complaining about having spent a lot of time on the bench at Chelsea and at United bare 4-5 untouchable players, the rest are often rotated.Just for that reason I cannot see Torres ever playing for United, he's a drama queen and an attention seeking whore.
Not long after the CL final win he brings the attention on himself, go feck yourself Fernando

I was astounded that he actually thought that he would start the Champions League final when everyone in the country knew that Drogba would start as the only orthodox striker.

It highlights the positive delusion that is a part of many athletes psychological make up.

Obviously that goes without saying, but he must've felt like he had to justify his pricetag from the very moment he arrived at the club which is why he played badly (and being injuried all the time probably didnt help either). I think he would've really been bright next season if he started the final and felt like he now had done enough to prove his pricetag and could start fresh in the next season.

Firstly, what has he done to he handed a start in the cl final? Sympathy start?

Moreover, why would he suddenly become bright next season upon starting the final? The most likely change that would take place due to him starting would be Chelsea losing the final. Unless your assuming had started it he would have done brilliantly, which rarely hasc happened over his Chelsea career.
