Indeed, looking very good. Don't expect this russian to perform that well in the second round. Morgestern is a bit of a concern though.

Sad...The hills in San Sicario proved treacherous Monday as Allison Forsyth was one of three women to suffer serious crashes in training runs.
SAN SICARIO, Italy (CP AP) -- Canadian Allison Forsyth's Olympics came to an abrupt end on Monday after she became one of four women to crash during training for the women's downhill.
The Nanaimo, B.C., native suffered a torn ligament in her left knee and was airlifted to Turin for magnetic resonance imaging, according to an Alpine Canada spokesperson.
Forsyth is expected to return to Canada in the coming days and undergo surgery on her anterior cruciate ligament, which is the major stabilizing ligament in the knee.
The 27 year old was to compete in her second Olympics. Forsyth, who won bronze in the giant slalom at the 2003 world championship, is known as a technical skier but planned to compete in the downhill at these Games as well.
Earlier in the day, American gold medal contender Lindsey Kildow crashed badly on her downhill training run moments after defending Olympic champion Carole Montillet Carles of France was carried off the hill on a sled.
Austrian Elisabeth Goergl also had a minor fall.
Kildow was taken by helicopter to a hospital trauma centre in Turin, U.S. Olympic Committee spokesman Bob Condron said. Her injuries were not as severe as first feared, however.
