We only need 1 new defender. But play G Neville in the centre.

There was a poll before the WC where everyone thought Cisse would be the one to watch for & buy. How quick peoples opinions can change.
Cisse IMO isnt a patch on a 75% fit Ronaldo.</strong><hr></blockquote>
In fairness, everyone who went for Cisse went for him on fitness grounds, which wasn't a bad point at all. Had Ronaldo limped off in the group stages for another 6-12 months he simply wouldn't be on that list.
Either way, Ronaldo coming just won't happen. Inter are unlikely to want to sell except for a stupid amount of money. Only hope would be Ronaldo wanting to move which I doubt, after spending all those years in agony yet being fully supported by Inter must count for something loyalty-wise. I cannot see Ronaldo turning his back on them, I would even dare say not even Nike could make him think otherwise.

if you could have Ronaldo in the shape that hes in now or Cisse who would u take?</strong><hr></blockquote>
I said Ronaldo before the WC, why would I change my mind now? You are talking ORDINARY vs. EXTRAORDINARY!

Well, I've decided the dream signing list for the Summer is:
In: Nesta (30m), Ferdinand (30m), Ronaldo (40m), Duff (15m)
Out: Veron (28m), Yorke (5m), Scholes (27m), Fortune (5m)
Spending: 50m - that's within budget, right?
