I liked Different Strokes at my young days

You should really watch Curb Spooner

I've heard of it, never bothered to catch an episode, though. One the whole, I hate American sitcoms, but love yank cartoon sit-coms(or whatever they're classed as). The three I mentioned have been as good as anything over the last decade. . . with South Park topping the lot. A decade on, it's as good if not better than it was.

1) The Day Today
2) Larry Sanders
3) I'm Alan Partridge
4) Monty Python
5) Brass Eye
6) The Simpsons
7) Curb Your Enthusiasm
8) Fawlty Towers
9) Phoenix Nights
10) Blackadder

Watch Arrested Development, it's class. Got cancelled because yanks were too thick to get it.

Hale and Pace, though?????

That was painfully awful.

It finished when I was about twelve, it was very funny back then.
I still reckon the funniest thing ever was their skit of the Yellow Pages advert when the couple have an old gardener working for them and he's puffing and panting with them saying "he's too old for that" so they buy him a motorised lawn mower out of the Yellow Pages.
In the skit, an old man is puffing and panting away with the couple saying "he's too old for that" and the camera pans down and he's banging a young girl from behind, ha ha, it was brilliant.

Watch it 1min45secs in, if you remember the actual advert from the early nineties it makes it a lot funnier....

The Daily Show
Whose Line is it Anyway ?
Blackadder
Dad's army (don't tell him pike.....feck off its brilliant)

Bit harsh on Monty P (as in the Pythons, not Panesar...he's not even top 20, unlike Gilo), but quite a lot of their non-film stuff's a bit dated now. Same goes for the Goons.

Also, I've only seen a couple of episodes of Allo Allo and Father ted, but both were brilliant
