Top Red of the Year 2009/10

I bought a pair of shoes because they were red. Do I get any points for that?

Wearing my United shirt on Monday. Any points for that? And the fact that I've managed to save half the money needed for my flights to the UK to watch a match. How many points then?

I've mainly been to away games on the basis that they're cheaper and easier to get to than the home games, which I can't really be arsed with.

Does this mean I get more points for my amazing dedication?

Anyway, my score:
312

Well I've decided to disqualify you on the basis that you would finish with more points than me.

1 point for attending a friendly/reserve team match
2 points for a competitive match at OT
3 points for a competitive match away from home
4 points for a Euro away or final

Friendlies/Reserves - 10
Matches at OT - 25 (ish)
Away Games - 4 not inc. CC final
Euro Aways - 0

Total = 72

You say 25ish, let's be conservative and go with 23. Means you have 68 points.

All bow down to the matchgoers who are quite clearly the bigger United fans than anyone apparently...

I wonder how many points the Reds in Asia, Australia, Africa, America and beyond get for getting up at daft o'clock to watch United play, finding an open bar at obscure opportunities on a Monday morning at 3am with work the next day, just to see us draw 0-0 with Southampton.

Oooo you bitter, bitter man.

Friendly - Community Shield
Home - Brum, Arsenal, City, Bolton, Wolfsburg, Villa, Leeds, City, Milan, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Stoke
Away - Burnley, Birmingham, City, Villa, Blackburn
Euro Aways - Munich (I'm taking two points as I went to the Audi Cup and had a Quarter final ticket before Maltese_Manc raped me for it) , Milan

46 for me, not bad considering I'm at Uni and have no legs.

 Thanks for that. Cracking time.

AKA Scoreboard Blue

Counting points is too simple but I have travelled 9080 miles to see United this season :smirk:

Friendlies 2
Home 28
Away 2
CC Final 1

Make that 68 i think... best score I've ever had i think!

Matches at OT- 11 (City, Everton, Villa, Leeds, City, Milan, Liverpool, Chelsea, Munich, Spurs, Stoke)

Away Games- 6 (West Ham, Fulham, Birmingham, City, Arsenal, Villa)

Total points: 40

0 friendly/reserve games = 0
13 league home games = 26
1 competitive away = 3
0 Euro aways = 0

Total = 29

Plus I wore my Cantona green and gold 92-94 shirt at a few games so that's definitely another 10-15 points. Maybe more.

Since I am not staying in Manchester or around Europe, so my point is 0.

Is that making me a Lesser Red? Can I count in when I join the watching together of local United fans community?

1 point for attending a friendly reserve team match - 1 overall points
2 points for a competitive match at OT - 26 Matches - 53 overall points
3 points for a competitive match away from home - 5 - 68 overall points
4 points for a Euro away or final - Milan, Carling Cup Final - 76 overall points

76 Points

Right then

3 reserves (although I also watched the Academy away at City for a bit, before realising that my addiction to live football might be getting out of hand :D)
18 home games
10 aways
Carling cup final

73 points.

0 for Friendlies
22 for OT matches
15 for away matches
12 for 3 Euros and 1 Final

That makes 49 points. I'll add an extra 20 for effect and call it 69...

I have 0 points, but I'm surely a contender for the Top Red of the year, as I've hurt Glazer's pockets much more than anybody else. For good measure, I haven't bought anything from the megastore either this year.

Next season, some other OOT can take over from me, as I've bought tickets for the pre season tour.

26 OT matches - 52 points
11 aways - 33 points
1 final - 4 points
1 reserve match - 1 point

90 points.

What you forget to mention, is that you are from Wigan, so you get docked 50 points.

I thought you knew mate. Horrible accident involving some butter, a bottle of Cilit Bang and a night on Class-A drugs....

Are you being serious?

From 18TimesFact in the newbies

Home: 18 league 1 CC 5CL 1FA = 50
Away: 2 league 1 CC =9
Euro Away: 5 = 20
CC final = 4

total= 83

What's the point in this competition if I'm disqualified?

It'll be an empty victory for the winner
