The man has taste. Have you seen 2046 or Infernal Affairs? Leung was arguably better in both compared to In the Mood for Love.

Not seen 2046, but yeah Infernal Affairs was brilliant, much better than The Departed. I've become a fan of Kar Wai Wong's work. Fallen Angels was excellent and all, for me better than Chungking Express.

You should start with Ju Dou, followed with The Story of Qiu Ju. Hero and House of Flying Daggers are two of the best Martial Arts movies I've seen in a long long time.

I've got Ju Dou and The Emperor and Assassin(I don't think the latter's by Zhang, though). I hope I'll get the chance to watch them this weekend. Oh, and Gong Li's sexy.

Ha, you're in for a treat then. 2046 is In the Mood for Love x10. It focuses completely on Tony Leung's character.

I'll watch it eventually. People I know(and on here) don't seem to like it anywhere near as much as ITMFL. But I haven't seen it, so I can't comment.
