and to think that isn't out of the realm of possibilities is quite unbelievable really. Leicester have to play Sheffield, Spurs and Us, and Chelsea have to play Liverpool and Wolves. Its very very possible.It would be absolutely amazing if Sheff Utd got into the CL, but even Wolves would be fun.

Perhaps, they did seem to outperform their xG.
Strange season however. Chelsea's goal difference is poorer than Leicester's yet they find themselves a point ahead. This is very much like 11/12, Spurs were so far in front of everyone in third, yet in the space of a week Arsenal made up 9 points on them. It just goes to show you top four qualification is all about how you end the season.

Not at all, I just think there's a surprise in there. It's the most competitive league in the world, United had a bad early spell against Villa.
There's still plenty to play for, get past Southampton and Palace and I think at that point United can relax a little, I see Leicester drawing or losing to Spurs.
I genuinely feel the next 3 fixtures won't be as easy as we are expecting, I honestly think the team is playing brilliant right now, and I think Ole is building something special, but certainly not out of the woods yet.
I'm hoping for Top 3 + Europa League, that would be a dream finish to the season.
Of course the FA Cup would be the cherry on the cake.

We may not get all the points available, but given the form and team spirit we have right now, I can't see how we implode.
In previous seasons, we could never predict our next result because our form was so erratic, but that has all changed since Bruno came.
I'm very confident we will create the chances to win every remaining game, and the team simply needs to trust itself to get over the line.
I think that wins against Palace and Saints will be enough for us. Leicester will not beat Spurs and Chelsea will not beat Liverpool. Both will not anyway. Which is enough for us.

67 points will get you top 4 this season, we could pick up those points in the first 23 games and lose the last 15 and it wouldn't matter.
If we hypothetically lost the last game of the season to Leicester and it costs us top 4, I'd certainly be looking at the first half of the season as to why we missed out rather than blaming the fact we only won 7 out of our last 8 games.

We need to create habits we've not had since SAF, ie being ruthless, putting together long unbeaten runs, and also the ability to rise to the occasion when a specific challenge is demanded. Our target should be 70 points and 70 goals scored.

Spurs could catch Leicester - who may struggle to pick up more than another point if they don't turn things around. They have some very tough fixtures.
Yes exactly. Getting back to the top first and foremost requires us to have the mentality of a top team. Everyone here nervous about playing Southampton and Crystal Palace is the exact opposite.

you can hardly take the high ground with all your oil money.There is a big difference between confidence and expecting to win vs arrogance. I think Ole has embedded that into this teams culture and it's so enjoyable to watch as a fan.
In a way, it's good we are playing without a crowd, so none of this fan nervousness transmits to the team, who have quickly created genuine self confidence in themselves.
