Based on goals scored this season we're the third best attacking team. You lot are not even top 6 in the league with that attack.

@duffer when we were joint 4th and 5th on GD, nobody said it was joint 4th! So enjoy 4th!
I don't think Ole is building anything special. He's been lucky that the players that were signed before he came or have come through the academy have hit a run of good form towards the end of the season. The recruitment has been poor and he's bottled the big decision by not dropping your keeper.
And I do think something is brewing at Chelsea. We are clearly signing another goalie and hopefully with another defender or 2 we will be challenging. We have the 3rd best attack in the league which has been let down consistently by awful goalkeeping and defending from set pieces. Fix them and we can at least start catching up on city and Liverpool.
Having looked briefly at your posts it seems you spend most of your time here calling other threads and posts shit without offering anything in return. Bit sad really, to be that unoriginal.Worst poster in the 'caf 2020. Well done. A lot of competition, but you've beaten them out with some pure, unadulterated gowlery.
Chelsea benched Kepa and voila, clean sheet against a dangerous Wolves
They still have terrible defense to sort.
Think they're edging towards that Liverpool zone where they need the same additions of VVD and Alisson to really make them a proper strong team.Chelsea benched Kepa and voila, clean sheet against a dangerous Wolves
I think they will and should be getting much better next season. After watching so matches this it’s clear however that City and Lfc are not going to get caught anytime soon. The gap is wide but I would put $ on Chelsea being the team that would at least challenge for a while at least before inconsistency takes it’s toll. United just isn’t there yet.Think they're edging towards that Liverpool zone where they need the same additions of VVD and Alisson to really make them a proper strong team.
Will they make those additions though? I kind of doubt it.
Agree that by any measure I'd expect them to do very well next season - especially if they can properly replace Kepa.I think they will and should be getting much better next season. I just think they need to be getting consistent. That’s what it’s really all about. But a lot of it depends on will the crowd be back or they playing in front of an empty stadium again and who are they going to buyAgree that by any measure I'd expect them to do very well next season - especially if they can properly replace Kepa.
That said they do have form for falling apart spectacularly.

You’ve never noticed him and yet you know what he was posting a couple of month ago? That’s some crazy 4D observational skills. You've got 48k posts and I've never noticed you. Says a lot. A couple of months ago you were all for sacking the bloke it seems. I wonder how much longer till the flip flops come back on.

Our attack on paper isn't special. It's a front three of Willian, Giroud and Pulisic. The first two aren't exactly prolific as well.
Or just searching the word 'sack' posted by his username. You’ve never noticed him and yet you know what he was posting a couple of month ago? That’s some crazy 4D observational skills.
No worries mate, we are 4th. You are 3rd, congrats! Let's see what next season brings us, let's go!
You are easily in the top three as far as easy on the eye to watch. Some good signings( you have the cash), and you lot will make it interesting. We're certainly being linked with players in those positions, whether we pull off the right signings is another matter. Interesting next few weeks for multiple teams.
Can Chelsea and Utd fans not get along today?
Both got the desired results both in CL.
Let’s play nicely until it all kicks off again in September?
Maybe if frank tells ole he’s giving it the bigun after game week #1 then we can all call him a cnut?

We have a better 11 than them but they have a better squad. If we are lucky with injuries like liverpool was, we will finish far above chelsea. We have a more settled starting team.I think they will and should be getting much better next season. Another flip flop. Here's you replying to a poster saying Ole should be sacked at the end of the season if you drop points to West Ham.Yet he's finished above you on the table and beat your precious Lamps three times with a young team. Jog on
It's crazy that you are so pissy at me saying that Ole isn't building anything special when you said he should be sacked only a week ago. You should jog on yourself, but remove the flip flops first.Without a shadow of a doubt. We are completely dead on our feet once again also, when Chelsea look well organised and fit.
The main downside of 4th place is the game congestion. But, as u ou said, they've already started work with bringing in reinforcements and by mid-September we will know better what kind of battle we should expect.Even if other posters here will explode for me saying it, this season I had marked Chelsea as our natural rival, with The Moonies, Liverpuddle and Spurs well ahead, and Arsenal and Leicester in tjhe same bracket, but Chelsea’s situation was so much like our own with a in house legend rebuilding with many youngsters. To me Chelsea were hindered by the ban (that was their own fault) but had to my eyes a better squad to begin with (which was our own fault).
Unlike previous rivalries with Chelsea (I do detest all Abramovic stands for in football and politics), the ban and Lampard made me also feel quite positively about this rival, and I think it has been a great internal battle this year.
i admit I got quite firef up winning 4-0 In the opener, even if it wasn’t a 4-0 game, and the 2-0 at The Bridge was an important step for us (even if it wasn’t a 2-0 game). The B-sides game in the MM cup wouldn’t have counted if not for the two managers focus on the up-and-coming, butthat kept it interesting. Getting our noses shoved in the ground at Wembley hurt bad ( even if it wasn’t a 0-3 game (and our late pen didn’t count for much either). So beating Chelsea on the goal line felt great, even if it is of small importance. Probably a less sweaty start to the CL? And double the Goal difference also feels good. If Chelsea win the cup, they will have had the better season, unless we do one inthe Europa League. And that’s fair.
Chelsea look to be strengthening massively, I hope we do to. In witch case next years battle for third may turn out very interesting indeed.
Lampard should get the manager of the year award imo, getting 4th with a small team like Chelsea is an extraordinary achievement. No worries mate, we are 4th. You are 3rd, congrats! Let's see what next season brings us, let's go!
Game congestion? Why? There’s no qualifier anymore...The main downside of 4th place is the game congestion. But, as u ou said, they've already started work with bringing in reinforcements and by mid-September we will know better what kind of battle we should expect.
Judging by past summers I don't expect much and would be satisfied with a Sancho-Grealish-Rice outcome (very unlikely, especially the latter) with a backup striker a welcome bonus (King?).
But even then Chelsea will most likely still have the better squad depth and it would be entirely up to how the new signings adapt to their new surroundings and the challenge of being in a PL race for top positions.
Who said that?OGS going to get hailed as a great manager now, despite getting the lowest point total for a third place in like, 10 years?(probably more)
Better than a manager who came from the championship straight into the top half and a few points from going to Europe with a small squad and barely any spending?Lampard should get the manager of the year award imo, getting 4th with a small team like Chelsea is an extraordinary achievement.
Really? I didn't know that! Is that a new thing? Premier League teams only or?Game congestion? Why? There’s no qualifier anymore...
