Sort the West Ham game, then a Chelsea defeat at Anfield as goo as sees us through irrespective of the last game

That sounds a lot more positive than at any point over the last few days!

Think we'll have to risk the semi final and play a lot of our backup's.
 
It might be a good thing Liverpool lost. Hope they set that right and get back to winning ways (damn felt so guilty typing that). I don’t care if they draw. Just hope Chelsea don’t win. Liverpool are unbeaten at home in 57 games? Hope that run continues too for now.
 
Chelsea (63 points): Liverpool (A), Wolves (H)
Leicester (62 points): Tottenham (A), Manchester United (H)
Manchester United (62 points): West Ham (H), Leicester (A)

My guess:

Chelsea draw their final 2 (end on 65 points)
Leicester as above (end on 64 points)
Manchester United beat West Ham and draw to Leicester (66 points)

But it can really go any way to be fair.
 
I don't think Chelsea are going to lose at Anfield, the Scousers have lost their drive.
 
Still not confident we'll beat West Ham! They're not in bad shape at the moment!

chelski are through IMO. I don't see them losing to the dippers and I think they will beat wolves at home by some jammy 1-0.

Its between us and leicester. First though, west ham at home won't be a walk in the park. They always play us like maniacs (similar to palace) and its no guarantee we get 3 points. We will have to be on top of our game after a gruelling FA cup semi final tie against chelski.

They will be tough. They always game raise against us.

But their form is pretty poor. Outside of beating norwich, they have basically lost or drawn every match previously since after the lockdown..

Hopefully they will secure safety if they beat watford (or draw?)
 
@TheNewEra you're wrong. If we go into the final game with a GD of 31 and Leicester are on 28, and they are 3 points behind, a 2 goal Leicester win would put them on GD 30 (28 +2) and us on 29 (31-2).
 
If we win 5-1 vs West Ham, Spurs beat Leicester 1-0 and Leicester beats us 1-0, it comes down to a playoff game against Leicester.
 
Let’s ignore the sickness brought on by the nerves for a second.. it’s so fecking exciting.

That last minute Southampton goal still haunts me.
 
We just need to concentrate on our games. We have to scrap to win them.

Let's just see how the other games go, but we have to concentrate on our job. Hope we get it done.

That would you require you to win your next game by three goals though, and Leicester to lose their next game by three goals. Which is what we said - you need a 6 goal difference swing to have a scenario where Leicester have to score 2 goals in the final game.

Say we beat West Ham 4 nil, bring out GD to 32,

Leicester beat spurs 1 nil bringing them to 32

And we draw nil nil against Leicester, what happens then?

Leicester ahead on goals scored. H2H only applies as a tiebreaker after points, goal difference and goals scored.

Be worth keeping an eye on Wolves. Probably depends on if they need a result to qualify for Europa at the time.

With them missing 3 regulars from their defence and their most creative player, you'd surely expect Spurs to get something against them. Especially as Spurs are still pushing for Europe, have only lost once since the restart and have a fit squad again!

The thought of needing points against West Ham in the season run-in makes me very nervous. They seem to regularly feck us up.
 
If United and Leicester both win their next league game and Chelsea lose. Genuinely, United and Leicester would both take a draw in the last game wouldn’t they?!
 
We will be going into the final round in third I am pretty sure. In that scenario we 'd need a draw to get through and a win to confirm third place.
