Top 4 predictions EPL 13-14

1. City
2.Chelsea
3. United
4.Arsenal

Striking problems will be our downfall and all change at United will see them fall short of the top two. Ozil will see Arsenal into 4th once more.

Agree, but do it funnier.

I always knew you were a closet Spurs fan. You just need the courage to come out.

Chelsea = blow job from a cheerleader
ManUnited = hand job from the girl in English Lit.
City = stumbled into a gay biker bar by mistake

Think it will be a low points total for the champions who will also lose a larger amount of games than is usual. For that reason I think we still have a great chance as it gives Moyes some slack to play with as he adjusts to the role. Likewise, I think Eto'o has lost his once famed powers and so Chelsea's failure to land a world class striker will cost them many points. City's new manager will find the learning curve too tough and whilst they have a very strong squad, it does not excite me at all. Wenger will use all his motivational skills and Ozil to help Arsenal punch above their weight. Spurs will take a long time trying to work out their best team and Liverpool will solidify and have as good a season as their squad can.

My prediction is:

1. Manchester United
2. Chelsea
3. Arsenal
4. Manchester City
5. Spurs
6. Liverpool

of course we still have a great chance, we lost to Liverpool at Anfield, not to Cardiff City or Aston Villa!

Really hard to predict this year. I'd like to think that United can win again, but quite likely we are going to have a bedding in period with moyes and not quite win the league. I kinda feel right now that Arsenal as well might be able to finish third this season, basically capitalising on everyone else's changes and the focus being off them.

I reckon Chelsea are lacking a striker and whilst they've added some wide players, they could struggle to score goals with Torres and Ba up top. Lukaku could have made a difference for them if he had been given a chance and I was surprised that they moved him out on loan again.

Liverpool have got better but I think people are being fooled by their early season form - they'll come 5th or 6th but won't get into the top 4, I don't think. For all the good business that Spurs have conducted, they too haven't markedly improved and Bale is a huge loss in terms of an individual who can win you points on his own - have they added someone who can replace that? I don't think so.

Basically leaves United and City for the title I think - City have added good players too but I agree with most people that their best players are still Hart, Kompany, Toure and Aguero. If those 4 players play to their highest standards, you could see City doing really well again, but we'll have to wait and see.

We're a bit of an unknown quantity really - started quite well I think, but the Liverpool game has put a real downer on things at the moment. We have the best squad in terms of depth and good quality across the pitch - you can't forget that this team won the league last season and we have added Fellaini to address our weakest area.

I reckon things will finish as follows, with Spurs and Liverpool fighting for 5th and 6th;

1 - City
2 - United
3 - Chelsea
4 - Arsenal

Liverpool = Beckenbauer
Chelsea = Maldini
City = Baresi
Arsenal = Passarella
Spurs = Dawson
United = Bramble

Liverpool = Paisley
City = Shankly
Chelsea = Stein
Arsenal = Busby
Spurs = Sherwood
United = Moyes

:)

:(

At least I put the thread in the proper forum.

:lol: Very good, Danny.

I predicted 6th down in the newbs, although that was in early October.

Lots down there predicted us finishing between 5th and 8th if I remember right.

Whatever, we just have to pray that the board are now seeing how utterly insane this appointment was in the first place.

Meanwhile, opposition fans are praying that they don't!
