All you people picking Spirit of Eden over Laughing Stock are a bunch of philistines.

I had no idea Talk Talk had as many admirers as they do, of their later work anyway. I've never met a fan in real life.

Sorry totally forgot that

Probably my favourite album of theirs too

Totally depends for me. Rated R is a more hazy, summer day album for me. More in tune with what Kyuss were doing. SFTD is just a brutal, nighttime kind of record. It's basically metal in places. SFTD probably edges it in fairness.

I'd probably rank both of them and also Like Clockwork all equal, all three equal in quality IMO, just depends what mood I'm in.

I like their first one the most, personally. It's just raw riff-rock...

Oh yeah definitely. It's interesting to see the development from Blues For The Red Sun, all the way through to Rated R.

Like clockwork is awesome too. I'm waiting for another vultures album as well.

The main downside that if I've been listening to it on my phone, when I set it down on the table/bar top the first thing that pops up is a big bush in see-through panties. It's led to a couple awkward moments.

I am only going to focus on everything starting in 2000. These lists look way too weird when you do it over a very long period of time.

1. Strokes- Is This It
2. Kanye West- My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
3. Artic Monkeys- Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not
4. Daft Punk- Discovery
5. Radiohead- Kid A
6. Kendrick Lamar- To Pimp a Butterfly
7. XX-XX
8. Blu & Exile- Below the Heavens
9. Weeknd- House of Baloons
10. Vampire Weekend- Modern Vampires of the City

Just be thankful you're not a Blind Faith fan. ;)

I couldn't possibly choose. It would change daily. Here's what iTunes reckons my top 10 most played albums are from my iPod that I've had since 2008.

Deftones - White Pony

Descendents - Everything Sucks
NOFX - The Decline
Please Inform The Captain The Captain This Is A Hijack - Defeat or Humiliate The United States of America
Godflesh - Streetcleaner
HUM - Downward is Heavenward
Death - Symbolic
Fugazi - In On The Killtaker
Leatherface - Mush

Yeah, that'll do.

No particular order, except the Modern Lovers is always first.

Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks
Nick Drake - @Pink Moon :D
Etta James - At Last
Marvin Gaye - Let's Get It On
