I don't like his off-screen personality, but enjoy watching him in movies.

Some films, he has been excellent.

That was good. It's nice to see him not take himself so seriously. I'd say beneath it all he's an ok sort of bloke

I agree. I don't think he would be a bad bloke. He may be a bit barmy because of that whole religion he's into but that doesn't necessarily make him a bad person. He seems brilliant with his fans, people have said he's the most generous person with the fans, he takes hours at premieres just signing autographs and having pictures taken, respect to him for that :)

He's kinda yummy too :)
 
I've always like tom cruise, especially in top gun.

how anyone can not like that film is beyond me. its even got val kilmer in it for god sake!
