Moyes said his top targets may not be available but any fecking target will be better than him at the moment
Ando has had plenty of chances. Time to go.
Neither are good enough no doubt about it.True.
Cleverley has also proven he's a nothing player of the past eighteen months.
That's a scandal of a decision.
I wouldn't criticise too harshly for the penalty or this bad performance alone. It happens. Sadly Cleverley looks less and less convincing though. If this continues he could easily be replaced as a squad option, nevermind actually starting regularly. Very ordinary player, unfortunately.
Still, in fairness to him, I think he knows he hasn't been playing well too.
Obviously never played the game have you. Who runs straight at a player when defending 1v1I don't understand why when he closes a player in possession, instead of going straight to them he runs to the side and invites them to just run past him directly at the back four. He did it 3 or 4 times today including the penalty incident.
Hate the way he stands there like a coward when our CB's urge him to take the ball from them.
Hate the way he immediately passes the ball to the safest option available even when in 50 yards of space.
Hate the way he kicks the ball by over swinging his leg after kicking it.
Hate the way he runs around like a lost puppy.

That is in no way me trying to defend Cleverley, he was awful tonight but he is not a defensive player, it's too easy to pick up on any incident and belt him with it, especially when it resulted in a dubious penalty.
