Needless bump, but "Hair flare: The reality star was seen touching Tom tenderly on his head" made me laugh more than it should.

As a more on point thing, the lad is incredibly overrated due to his absence.

Hoping he doesn't become a regular in the tabloids, we could do without another big time charlie.

Same here

And why is a premiership footballer who's supposed to have been working really hard to get themselves fit, allowed to have more flab on them than me?

At the risk of sounding like one of those closet benders who post on body-building forums, he looks pretty cut. I'd say his body fat is well below 10%. Criticism for his recent profile being higher off the pitch than on it is fair. Criticising him for being out of shape - based on those photos - is just bizarre.

noods, I'm really not seeing that.

Well I'm not going to post pictures of other shirtless footballers as a comparison, but he hardly looks in as good a shape as he should be in those pictures. It looks like someone's inflated his skin.

Unless most footballers spend their time off each year getting as deliberately out of shape as possible, which is possible.

Yeah, looks in fine shape to me, especially during a holiday. No doubt his body fat would come down another couple of per cent during training, I doubt its ever been a problem with Tom.

He doesn't look in good shape at all for a professional athlete. He has an okay build, but considering what he does for a living I'd expect him to be in better shape.

Cleverley has missed most of the season so should have had plenty of time to do upper body work in the gym, which would have benefitted him next year.

No he's right. Considering the condition top level footballers are expected to keep themselves in (with the bizarre exception of Tevez), it's not actually that great. Although pictures can be deceiving.

If a picture of Ronaldo looking like that emerged, it'd be because he retired or stopped caring about how good he is around 3 years ago.

He's standing up in the second picture.

You guys just love an average physique.

The Only Way is Essex. I googled it..which is what I should've done in the first place.

It sounds horrific.

Has he? She's already dated a handful of Premier League footballers. She's clearly a money grabbing, attention seeking, desperate to be a famous WAG slag.

My only worry about Cleverley is he seems far too pre-occupied with his "image". Make it on the pitch and the rest will follow.

Aye. That website of his is a fecking embarassment.

TC23 indeed.

He doesn't look that great from those pictures, not sure what some of you are seeing?

He doesn't look out of shape mind, but he's hardly looking well cut there. Similar to how Rooney gets over the break, I'd imagine he'll look a lot better closer to the season.

Apparently she's slept with quite a few premiership players.

Couldnt give a feck either ways if he continues to focus on the pitch and not on matters off it.

Matters off the pitch are of great concern aswell, if Cleverley is pissing about with reality TV slags and attracting media attention it's not going to benefit him at all, and will only mount the pressure on him. He has only 15 senior appearances for United after all.

EDIT: Oh, and the whole "You do what you want during the week, as long as you turn up on saturday" was a hallmark of Atkinson's time here that Ferguson spent years rooting out

Which is why i said it wouldnt matter if he continues to focus on the pitch and not on matters off it.

If he's just fecking some reality star but not getting into anything more, its fine by me.

I also do think that his injury after a handful of impressive performances and our issues at CM have added a great deal of hype and media interest around him. Next season, he'l either need to perform well to attract similar attention or things will cool off.
