Ok, Lampard didn’t work out. What’s JT up to these days?
They sacked Di Matteo not long after winning the champions league.About 0.0% chance they fire the coach who brought them back into the to play and won them the championship league, 6 weeks into the new season after spending a gazillion pounds on players, who haven't even all started a single game yet
Maybe not immediately but the pressure is building slowly. Tuchel can't continue to live off that Champions League win, and now they have fresh owners who will be looking for some return on their investment.About 0.0% chance they fire the coach who brought them back into the top 4 and won them the championship league, 6 weeks into the new season after spending a gazillion pounds on players, who haven't even all started a single game yet
Different situation and different decision makers. They sacked Di Matteo not long after winning the champions league.

Tuchel is also the type of manager who has little to fall back on when results aren't going his way because the style of football is quite slow and safe.

Tuchel should be largelyworried™Different owner now though. Might do things different to Roman.
There's still Liverpool, Spurs and United to worry about. Arsenal look better than last season too even if they'll slow down soon. In addition if Newcastle keep up their good start that's another team to worry about.Still early, although I'm sure the media will start beating the drum. Chelsea should still be able to qualify out of the CL group stage & only 3 pts out of 4th in the PL (& only 5 pts from top). I do think that if Chelsea starts to lose touch of the top 4, Tuchel will feel the heat. Don't think it will happen as I don't think Arsenal are true top 4 contenders & Brighton won't be there much longer. He has been a bit dour, though, which can transfer to his players.
Unfortunately they are.I don't think Arsenal are true top 4 contenders
Unfortunately they are.
You would assume that Liverpool will come good which would mean that there are two places up for grabs. In my opinion, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and United are all in the same boat. Hopefully Liverpool continue to falter though.I think so too as long as Jesus stays fit. He's brilliant for them even when not scoring.
I would be very surprised if that happens. Don't you think Rodgers reputation has taken a hit lately ?Rodgers to Chelsea?
I'm good with Brendan going anywhere as long as he goes but please lord... . Anyone but Southgate. !!Brendan to Chelsea, Howe to England, Southgate to Leicester, and Poch to Newcastle. You heard it here first.

Yeah they have definitely been a bit fraudulent in the past, but you're right they are a very credible candidate now. Chelsea have been a bit overrated in the recent past and Spurs are seen by some as practically a guarantee to be in the top 4.Of course I'm assuming Liverpool will be right there, but you misunderstood me. I wasn't saying Arsenal are a guarantee, just that they are seriously in the conversation and them getting anywhere from 2nd to 4th wouldn't surprise me (whereas I've always thought they were a bit fraudulent in the past)
Wouldn't you say that lack of investment at your club is a big factor in how the team is doing? Even at United, you can see how new players have invigorated the team. Members of a squad need to feel on edge at any club; there has to be competition and a referesh every few years, and from the outside that doesn't seem to have happened at Leicester.I would be very surprised if that happens. Don't you think Rodgers reputation has taken a hit lately ?
