Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

Because he's shit, boring, far too clean-cut and has a kiddie image.

Kids and women love Cena (apart from me). Guys, as well as older fans, don't really like him because he's the face of the PG era. I'm old school when it comes to WWE. I grew up with it in the 80's golden era and the 90's attitude era.

John Cena as a person is great, but John Cena as a wrestler/sports entertainer is garbage. Like somebody else pointed out, you just know when somebody slaps a submission move on him, there's no way he's going to tap out. He's going to somehow find the strength within him to get out of it, and somehow get the win every single time. It's boring and predictable.
Fair enough, I grew up during the Attitude Era, and for me Stone Cold was the biggest legend, moreso than The Rock. The Rock had all his catchy lines but when it came to in-ring business Stone Cold would crap over any man.

I think in this day and age, the personalities in the WWE don't come close to the Attitude Era.

Like Undertaker at wrestlemanias.... :wenger:!

Oh no, don't be dissing Taker's undefeated streak :nono:

But anyway, that's why I believe WWE should have Undertaker in one last WM match and lose it, because everybody would be betting he'll win but it would be completely surprising if he did lose.

I think he should face Kane, and Undertaker has went on record to say that if he loses at WM, he wants it to be against Kane.

Stone Cold is a legend, no doubt. He was (and still is) fantastic. Seeing these guys today, and yes I do like some of them, but I'm blessed that I grew up in the best era of the WWE. You're right, the WWE don't have personalities now that they did 10-20 years ago.

The golden era and then the attitude era for me.

Andre the giant, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Macho man, Roddy Piper, Texas tornado, mr Perfect, big boss man, million dollar man etc etc etc.

The list goes on and on and all in a period between '87 and '91.

The attitude era redefined the wrestling industry and improved it in nearly every sense, but the golden era roster will never be beaten.

The problem with that is what the WWE gets out of a victory like that. It's pretty much wasted. It does no good to put over an already established superstar. It's just a nice sentimental thing. It's good for maybe a year and then it becomes a historical note.

If Taker has to lose it has to be to someone young but a legitimate threat. It has to be used to catapult someone to the top of the business, and then WWE can get 10+ years of marketing out of it. Either that or he should remain undefeated out of respect for Undertaker and what he has meant to the locker room for 20 years.

Taker agreed to lose to Randy Orton a few years back during his legend killer stint.

Orton refused the offer out of respect.

Agreed on this. Finish with 20-0 or lose to somebody who can be built into a star to lead the company for years.

re-negotiate a contract with Punk. Have him go over 'Taker at Wrestlemania. Punk is bonafide star quality of the Austin breed. A win like that, on top of his current popularity, will push him through the roof, guaranteed.

I can see where you're coming from, what it would do for a young up and coming star. But Undertaker has stated, if it's to be anybody, he'd want it to be Kane. The fact that both of them are genuinely good friends in real life, Kane's character came into WWE because of Undertaker, so their characters are tied together in a way.

WWE Ice Cream Bars was trending on twitter last night for hours after Raw first ended. The mic work last night was pretty amazing and hit all the right spots to get everyone excited for Sunday. Chicago's got a pretty vocal heel crowd from what I remember so the atmosphere should be pretty electric.

I think Stings newest 3 years after the point stolen gimmick is quite possible the most entertaining shit ever.

feck Punk. Sting is god as always.

I need to start watching TNA.

It's quite good now. Flair is injured, Matt Hardy is sick, and Jeff Hardy is probably stoned off his face somewhere, so they haven't been able to ruin it.

Ken Kennedy is still there though, but I'll forgive them for that.

Bischoff and Hogan ruin TNA. I really wish heyman was given full control of it and able to implement his plan on it.
Sting is quality though.

From Raw, the whole Cena/Vince/punk has been done perfectly. The promos have been fantastic and just by talking they have probably got a thousands of buys as nobody knows whats going to happen. Normally you would think "Ok cena wins as per usual" but even if that still happens, its not a guarantee as they have so many ways they can go with this.

Speaking of Cena, Rocks reply to him:

Without the little line at the end of YOUTUBE of course

Yeah that's just Orton doing the good friend circle jerk. Judging from his recent interviews he should really just stop talking to the media for a while.

I am a fan of Orton, but yes I do agree he should refrain from giving interviews for a while. His comments about Kelly Kelly were a disgrace too.

He basically said Kelly Kelly slept around with half the locker room.

Awful comments. Whatever you think of the girl, he should have kept his mouth shut. He shouldn't have buried a colleague like that in an interview.

He issued a public apology to her, but I don't know if she's accepted it or not.

The other half are prob luckier. Sleeping with Maryse instead

Two of the superstars Kelly Kelly was said to have been with was Dolph Ziggler and Batista.

I've also read that Maryse was involved with Sheamus, but is now dating The Miz.

Could just youtube a 'wrestling' match between them and compare their 'wrestling abilities'

WHATCHA GONNA DO GOOGLE.
