I wonder if Kofi will have one of his crazy close to eliminations but somehow manages to survive doing something unique. haha

I'd love it if they had a twist on that with him landing on his hands again, but then some heel that's just been eliminated just storms over and kicks him down.

Also, I've gone for a cheeky few bets tonight, this is the one I really want to happen though:

Randy Orton
The Brotherhood
Daniel Bryan
Brock Lesnar

For £420!

Got a few others in just in case though :)

Which betting site do you use? how much you put on?

Used Paddy Power, only put a tenner on it.

I don't think they are results with no chance of occurring so it was worth the money, especially as it was winnings from the footy on the weekend anyway. As I said though, got a couple other bets on for a slight profit if this doesn't come in. They won't let you include Rumble winner and most eliminations in an accy though.

The big things that would cost betting in wrestling are usually the ol' DQ title retain, or DQ's in general which are often hard to judge.

It would not surprise me if Lesnar loses via DQ but puts Show out of commission... It also wouldn't surprise me if there's a a DQ allowing Orton to retain, as beating Cena clean twice is usually not on.

I'm looking at the Paddy Power site now. Why is Richard Sherman in the "Royal Rumble winners" list?

Yeah, I have quite a few combinations of bets, I'll be a bit gutted if I lose but hopefully the PPV is actually good haha

Have to go for a few of the ones with lesser odds to make money but you'd be surprised how often there's one result that lets you down if you just pick all the favourites and chuck money at it - it's like football.

How on earth did you get that with a tenner? If I try a 4 way accumulator for a tenner with those it gives me £172.
I put the bet on earlier this afternoon, odds change quite a lot. Batista was 1/4 to win the Rumble when I put that bet on, now he is 11/8!!

Edit: That changed very quickly! Must have caught a lot of attention because he's 1/3 again now

Thanks for tagging me @Annihilate Now! :)

Batista will win this 100%. There would be no reason for him to return at this point, if he wasn't going to win something big. Is Daniel Bryan in the Royal Rumble match? I ask this because many are saying that he's not in it. (Betting patterns surprisingly have Bryan as the winner of the Royal Rumble.) I hope he's in it. This is what Bryan recently said on his position in the Royal Rumble:
On Not Being Booked For The Royal Rumble Match: “As of now, I’m not in the 30-man Royal Rumble match, I’m trying to get involved in it. (WWE) COO Triple H doesn’t want me anywhere in the Royal Rumble match.”

what odds did you get on the brotherhood?

News going round that...

X-pac is in Pittsburgh - the sight of tonight's PPV (He has tweeted as much himself)

...and he will be in the rumble.

Rumours are that WWE doctors have declared that Hulk Hogan isn't even fit enough to wrestle.

He's signed a contract and will be at Wrestlemania in some capacity though.

Still 90 minutes to go, in the mean time anyones favorite Rumbles?

As event's 2000 and 2008 are mine, both from MSG. 2000 is a classic with Tag Table Match and HHH/Cactus Jack. 2008 had Edge/Mysterio, Orton/Hardy and my personal favorite rumble of all time with HBK/Taker starting out and Cena's shock return.

Favourite Rumble match was definitely 2001, Kane eliminating 11 people, but Stone Cold taking it in the end.

It also had the Jericho / Benoit ladder match

98 was fun. Every single guy in the ring waiting for Austin, then he comes in from behind. The rise of the Rock, and also Cactus Jack and Terry Funk destroying each other at the start. Pretty much enjoyed most of them, bar 99.

1992 is a great one. Mainly because Heenan's commentary performance was just incredible.

Edit: Big E Langston needs to draw #3, and then refuse to come out unless he's given #5.

Plus Angle/HHH, was a belter.

I do love 01 but for me growing up I never had Sky so I rarely had the chance to see WWE other than Heat on a Sunday. I remember one Sunday, my best mate had a 5-aside game for his 10th B'day and after we sat in the club-house watching heat and they told me the Royal Rumble was on Channel 4 that night - recorded it, saw the Cactus Jack Triple H street fight and never looked back - amazing match.

Owen Hart chasing after Triple H then falling over himself was another highlight

With everyones favourite rumble decided, next question is - how is everyones sleeping pattern looking tonight?

I've shared 2 bottles of wine with the wife since dinner at 4pm, as well as 3 bottles of beer so far plus plenty in the fridge. The Rumble ends at 4, I have to be up at 6:10 to get into work for 7...reckon I'm going to be pissed going into work.

On an off point, watching some stuff on YouTube while I wait - how hot was Lita back in the day...christ.

My sleeping pattern isn't the best, but this PPV is worth staying up for.

So what's the plan with Goldust and Cody? I'm guessing they'll split up and have a match at WM which Cody will win?!

Eh, might not even bother sleeping, Fifa/FM until breakfast.
No work?

Slee...ping patt...ern?

What are these words?
 I kind of feel you, I went to sleep about midnight last night, didn't wake up until 1 this afternoon - wasn't even that tired. Don't think I'd even make it to 1am if I hadn't slept so long last night.
