WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of William Moody, aka Paul Bearer. Moody made his WWE debut in 1991 as the manager of The Undertaker and went on to become a memorable part of WWE over the course of the next 20 years.
Our deepest condolences go out to Moody’s family, friends and fans.
Rather surprised to hear that. He came back only a few years ago didn't he, so didn't think he was in poor health at all?Paul Bearer has died.
He was a cool character back in the day.

Wonder will Punk mention Bearer in a promo now... You never know how far they'll go these days.
That would really be in bad taste. I was actually thinking that if Punk went over Taker this WM, then it would launch him to that next level. With Paul Bearer gone now, perhaps Taker will win and dedicate it to him.
So, Sin Cara and Antonio Cesaro put on a very entertaining match on Main Event. I'd quite like this to be a programme, although I do think Cara could do with a manager now that Rey isn't around much.
I also notice they've rebranded El Generico, who is now maskless. This saddens me hugely, I know they like to own images/names etc... but Generico was a one off, he should have stayed as he was, the kids would have loved him, he'd have been a money making machine, now there's every chance he'll fail.
There's also word that Bray Wyatt is doing house shows now, I'm a massive fan of Bray, who is much much much more entertaining than his brother, as well as being the exact opposite of him in pretty much every way, no one would ever believe they were brothers, anyway, I digress. I do feel that he'd be better moving with the family, or Luke Harper at least as I'm still unsure on Rowan. This could be an issue with having the very recent heel stable moved up though.
Last but not least, they need to decide what they're doing with Sandow and Rhodes. Either give them the tag titles or try Cody out as a face with Kaitlyn as has been teased of late. It's painful watching them get squashed each week with no general direction. Hell, I'd take Rhodes Scholars vs the Outlaws at Mania, purely for the promo's we'd get in the build up.
Guess who
(clue, he currently works as a financial planner. No cheating)
Was watching the 2002 Royal Rumble on Youtube and got me thinking about wrestlers/gimmicks/moves that make wrestling sometimes impossible to defend. I came up with the following:
Anyone else come up with any from the top of their heads?
A bit morbid!Chris Benoit?
Too soon?
A shitload of the gimmicks in CHIKARA are really hard to explain. There's the evil snakeman, the ice cream tag team, and the colony of ants to name a few.
Goddammit Quackenbush.

Even after 13 years or so of watching WWE/WWF, when the undertakers music hits and those clock chimes go off it still sends shivers down my spine.
Such a fantastic character.
Reverse image search? I'd have never spotted it
It was way worse years ago. The Bushwakers, The Repo Man, Papa Shango, The Mountie, The Gobbly Gooker...
The Ultimate Warriors finisher was a simply jumping on a downed opponent. HE also hulked up
Although in recent times Boogeyman and Eugene The Retard rivals some of the worst ever.
I forgot about Eugene
Best one I can remember is when Perry Saturn had that girlfriend who was just a mop with a face stuck on it.
Or the "Mean Street Posse"...a bunch of blokes wearing golf jumpers.
As a wrestling move!? In terms of skill the actual worm bit takes some effort but the look on his face, the hopping around and the actual move (a bloody chop!!) is what gets me!What's wrong with the worm??
