Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

 That guy got an instant boner when Lillian Garcia dived out of the way of Reigns spear and sat on his lap.

I caught a little bit of the Shield's match and that spear was epic. Reminded me of Goldberg back in the day.

Is Punk going to be in the main event of mania now? Seems that way after the way the match went. I hope we see a three way, because then either Punk or Cena could win.

A definite wtf moment with the Swagger win.

Love The Shield, their triple teaming was awesome, especially the way they'd tag in twice in at a time.

Rock vs. Punk was much better this time around, and now we're on the road to twice in a lifetime.

STILL no Undertaker? :(

Bit pissed off I didn't do a backup accumulator with Swagger. I had him or Henry down as certs. Got every other result. Twat.

Of course they're not going to break Taker out at a PPV unadvertised, that makes no sense at all, he'll probably be at Raw in Dallas which is pretty soon.

Set up perfectly for Punk Taker. Punk gets refused a rematch, goes on a rampage, says how he's beaten everyone, done everything etc... lights out, gong, match set.

In general I really enjoyed last nights show, no weak matches (well, I didn't actually watch Dolph and Kofi, but they tend to work well together). Roman is clearly someone that Vince is very high on, and it's great to see that they've not done what they did with Nexus to the Shield. Nexus was clearly an idea they had then threw people into it that didn't really fit. I mean, Justin Gabriel as a heel? Never gonna work. This they clearly waited until they had the right guys, and it shows.

I'd probably prefer a Rock/Punk/Cena triple threat over ONCE IN A LIFETIME...AGAIN. Adds a new dimension to the match, and gives Punk something to do.

In fact, I'm going to do a quick Wrestlemania card (in order of how it comes into my head, not the order I expect it to actually happen in).

WWE Championship: The Rock (c) vs. CM Punk vs. John Cena

World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Jack Swagger

World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler

Daniel Bryan vs. Kane

Tag Team Championships: Brodus Clay/Tensai vs. Prime Time Players vs. Team Rhodes Scholars

The Shield vs. Ryback, Sheamus & Randy Orton

United States Championship: Antonio Cesaro vs. The Miz

Intercontinental Championship: Wade Barrett vs. Bo Dallas :(

Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman vs. Triple H w/Vince McMahon

Big Show vs. Booker T

In terms of big(ish) names, that's leaving out Jericho, Mark Henry, Christian, Sin Cara, Rey Mysterio, and Undertaker. Everyone else can just go into the usual battle royal. Suppose Sin and Rey could go in the tag titles match, if they're healthy. Christian may have to wait until after Wrestlemania to return, and I'm not sure Taker is up to it. So Jericho and Mark? I suppose they could face each other, but it'd be a bit of a throwaway match/feud, and I'd like them to have something more substantial.

Edit: Shit, divas. Erm, big tag match? Layla & Kaitlyn & Natalya vs. AJ & Rosa & Tamina?

This made the main event btw

"You had a 1, then a 1 and a half and now you have a 2"

Still no Undertaker. I read a report earlier that says if he doesn't wrestle this year (which is looking less likely), they'll keep him for WM30 next year and that will be him done because he'll be coming onto 50 years old and with all the injuries he has had.

I think they appeared together during a press conference for something or other, and announced that they'd gotten back together due to popular demand. In other words, creative split them up and realised they had nothing for them to do.

As for Taker, Wrestlemania 30 is a good round number to retire at, he'll have had two years to rest. Get him on that DDP yoga thing, it's meant to be working wonders for Jake the Snake. Question is, who does he face, and does he win?

The streak can't last for me. He has to lose.

It's getting to the point where the streak is becoming the biggest thing of the year, and overshadowing Wrestlemania itself, which means that once he's retired, what is the draw for the Mania afterwards?

I still see him performing, and losing, this year. Punk beating him does make sense too.

I still think Punk will be involved somehow. He'll go on about how he had The Rock pinned for a good 10 seconds on RAW tonight.

Hm, Undertaker shouldn't lose the Streak IMO. It has to go down as wrestling legend. Like Sammartino's title reign or Stone Cold delivering the first stunner to Vince McMahon or the Montreal Screwjob.

To be honest, I don't think they have to try hard to sell tickets to Wrestlemania. Wouldn't surprise me if there was a lot of people that go just because it's Wrestlemania.

Also, here's a fairly naff example of Swagger's theme (recorded from EC, so you've got Lillian talking over it).

I like it. There's a combination of American Patriot and Somebody's About To Die in there. Better than that Age Against The Machine song.

Well, the streak cannot, in anyway, be compared to Vince being stunnered or the screwjob. Sammartino did lose the title remember, so that'd be more comparable, if he'd have retired the belt you may have had a point.

On Ambrose, because he's brilliant. His promo delivery in that Pillman-esque style really captures the imagination. He's a brilliant ring worker too.

Here we go then.

Cena came out to open it and I felt a bit bored already.

Punk's just come out though :D

So Raw next week has 3 outcomes then?
1- Cena Wins, sigh.
2- Punk Wins, Triple Threat match at WM
3- Taker costs Punk the match, set up match at WM

New wwe championship belt

Better than the spinner but I still don't like it

The replica looks better

The main plate isnt gold enough. They could have made the whole plate gold and the logo platinum to maje it stand out. Its still infinitely better than the spinner though

Dunno about that. Vince getting stunned was the result of massive build up and a huge angle which changed the course of WWE. The Screwjob speaks for itself. But The Streak is the longest running storyline in WWE, each match being the culmination of a feud with Taker. In that regard, I believe The Streak should live on. Also, I know that it's convention for the outgoing wrestler to lose but we're talking about 20 years of perfection here!

On the title belt, the side plates on the real belt are nice. I've always thought the big WWE logo looked tacky though.

Not a huge fan of that belt, but compared to the Spinner Belt and that Jeff Hardy belt, it looks like a work of art.

I doubt many even know that Kaitlyn uses it. Big Show's is more like a sloppy shoulder tackle.

Reigns' one does look powerful though.

I love how Roman uses it. Like an angry Samoan train.

That's the way it should be done. Don't hug the opponent (Edge, Bo), mow the fecker into the canvas (Goldberg, Rhyno).
