Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

Sad news. Especially seeing the toll addiction can take on your general health, especially if you get unlucky.

Mad to think him and Sting are more or less the same age.

Scott Hall was taken of life support 6 hours ago and as of 2 hours ago, was still breathing on his own.

Would be amazing if somehow he can pull through

Potential spoilers for tonight:

Looks like Cody is debuting tonight. Rollins/Cody at mania which should be a fun match tbf. Also suggests Cody will be a face. The man flat out refuses to go heel and he's easily a better and more natural heel than face.

I was reading a report this morning that he still hasn't signed a contract.

Writers have no idea if he will be there tonight and it's crucial for him to be on tonight if he is gonna have a Mania match with
Seth
.

Michael Hayes just posted this...... No other confirmed news as yet.

@MichaelPSHayes1: So sorry to hear of the passing of Scott Hall.
Pioneer, Global Star and so much more.
My prayers and condolences to his family, friends and fans.

@WWE: WWE is saddened to learn that two-time WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall has passed away.

WWE extends its condolences to Hall’s family, friends and fans.

So its official,
Cody still has yet, not signed with WWE and it appears that Seth will simply now issue an open challenge at Mania and if Cody signs, he will show up, or it will be Doink the Clown.

Rest in peace

It's scary that he went in for an operation on his hip, something I did 2 years ago myself and he ended up dying due to complications.

So sad, given he had done so much to turn things around.

Just caught up on RAW. It seems obvious to me that Cody either debuts next week, or he comes out as a muster opponent at Mania. Either way, I think his first match is against Seth in a few weeks. The commentators saying things like “this could become a nightmare” when Seth came out, and not taking that fans ‘all Rhodes lead to mania’ sign just makes me think it’s a done deal.

See my last spoiler.

They are dropping hints and in case it happens, but as of yet, he hasn't signed a contract.

Ideally, last night was the night from a creative stand point for him to show up and build, but obviously he didn't and they are trying to fill a storyline for Seth to cover the period up to Mania.

Interesting 2 weeks ahead

Major News Backstage news on why Vince McMahon pulled himself from WWE WrestleMania match with Pat McAfee

There was a major change of plans last week when Vince McMahon did his interview on The Pat McAfee Show.

On the 2/28 episode of Raw, there was a backstage segment that strongly hinted at Austin Theory showing up with McMahon on the McAfee show to provide back up in case things got out of hand. Before McMahon arrived, McAfee’s co-host kind of let it slip that McAfee was about to set up a program with McMahon but that never ended up happening and Theory was not there.

Per the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there was a big change from the original plans but McMahon will be involved in the match and it appears that there will be an angle to get McMahon involved, perhaps at ringside instead of making it a handicap match but that has been discussed as well.

It was noted that there were plans for McAfee vs. McMahon and Theory would have taken all of the bumps for McMahon but McMahon evidently had second thoughts about advertising himself when they couldn’t deliver that match without smoke and mirrors.

Article pre Raw yesterday

There are WrestleMania plans in place for Cody Rhodes if he decides to return to WWE but all indications are that as of a couple of days ago, he has not signed the contract.

Dave Meltzer stated in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that things are up in the air with Cody and it’s unclear why he has not signed the deal and some in the company are wondering if he is doing something similar to what Brian Pillman did in 1996. Pillman convinced WCW to give him his release so he could get them into a bidding war against WWE. Pillman ultimately went to WWE with the idea that he would eventually return to WCW.

Ringside News reported that a tenured member of the creative team stated that “no one has been talking about it” in regards to Cody and WWE and that “Vince makes decisions on RAW, tells Bruce Prichard and Ed Koskey and John Laurinaitis, and the rest of the team stays in the dark until Mondays.”

RSN’s source added that “RAW is the worst mess it’s ever been.” This has been obvious in recent months because there are seemingly more changes than ever happening and oftentimes, WWE will advertise matches on their website that don’t end up happening. In some cases, an explanation is given but other times the announcers are not told to say anything. But what seems to be more out of the ordinary is that so much has been changing during the build to WrestleMania. In previous years, the top matches were locked in for months in advance.

If Cody shows up tomorrow night on Raw in Jacksonville, Florida, then the expectation is that he will start a feud with Seth Rollins. If he does not show up and Rollins starts a feud with someone else, then that means that WWE was not able to come to an agreement with Cody. There is still a possibility that Cody and WWE come to terms late on Monday and if that happens then they can start the feud next week.

Right now, all indications are that no deal is signed so it will be interesting to see how things play out tomorrow night.

Shawn Waltman and Kevin Nash seem to be having an extremely difficult time. Hogan gave a tribute about Hall at a bar the same night And said it was difficult to "get me **** together and even get down here, after hearing about Scott".

Feels like a big loss for wrestling, especially for those who watched him when they were younger.

Cody delaying for the Wrestlemania debut pop? Sounds like Cody.

Don't think the manner of it helps at all. To have him go from seemingly getting his life in order to dying after something as innocuous as a fall is a pretty heavy kick in the gut.

Dusty Rhodes died falling down stairs, Jim Neidhart banged his head after falling also.

It's scary how fragile life is

Jericho reinventing himself again. Thought he was done, but he's in great shape now with a new gimmick.
