Apparently Lashley needs surgery on his shoulder after and will be out for 4 months, he picked up the injury at the Royal Rumble.

That would explain why that crap happened.

Why not just write him out of the match beforehand? Literally just announce he's been injured, replace him (then you can hype a new champ), and then you don't have to have him "concussed" by falling plexiglass or whatever it is.

Why when you can make an angle out of it?

WWE is so predictable, they might as well just get rid of everyone who isn't Brock and Roman.

Enjoyed Dynamite and Rampage this week, as usual, first time seeing Jay White, was impressed with his pre match talking and in the ring.

Edit: except for his music, which was a horrible screechy noise.

I don't understand WWE logic sometimes

I realise one shouldn't spend time thinking too much about WWE logic, or lack thereof, but... Does two titles actually make Brock vs Reigns bigger!? And in any event, does it make it more bigger then having ANOTHER actual world title match? Of course it bloody doesn't. It's daft.

I love this Brock character and this Brock run, but this really doesn't help and seems totally pointless.
Honestly I’m not one to moan about booking but I swear someone at Wwe is literally going “hey look what stupid shit I can book this week” and it’s just some big wind up.
Literally all WWE seems to give a shit about is Reigns, Lesnar, Charlotte and Becky. Nobody else might as well exist.
Completely wasting a world title belt, for what? So Reigns or Lesnar can carry around two belts for a few months? Morons.
I thought the Royal Rumble was as bad as it could get but clearly that was just for starters.

Chamber was ... something

Brock and Roman are made. They really shouldlook to use other guys especially young ones and make them look like stars too.
WM 31 and WM34 had Brock vs Roman...
7 years later Brock vs Roman  Both over 35 as well (roman acceptable though cos hes been there main eventing nearly every WM since 31)

At least they putting him with a heel cos he's not gonna get cheered

MJF... What a promo. I'm not sure where its going when they leave it like that and it certainly wasnt what anyone was expecting to hear from him, but he's a great story teller

Not who I thought would be joining house of black tonight but thought he'd join sooner or later in fairness.

I think at this point we can see that to TK, signing someone who had a couple of matches push on the main roster of Raw or Smackdown at some point is a "big signing" and will be hyped up before the event

Is it just me or is AEW huge? So many wrestlers and I feel like there is constantly loads of people in the ring.

Unpopular opinion… I don’t think WWE ‘failed’ Cesaro or ‘dropped the ball’. I think he’s a fantastic athlete that belongs in the mid-card or tag teams. I don’t think he has the charisma to be a star. I don’t think he’ll be a big miss at all. But AEW will gobble him up and the internet will lap it up I’m sure.

Not a great promo, certainly, but that's not the same as charisma which he had plenty of. I'd question whether you'd make him WWE champion too but to have his only singles title be a US title run almost ten years ago is pretty shocking.

So, in a company where being legitimately good in the ring is important Cesaro is a top talent. WWE isnt about that

AEW is mostly about that and so are NJPW so they will be a better fit. He still probably needs work on his character yes as AEW already has people like Bryan Danielson as just a straight up wrestler.

I just read Daniel drew the lowest ratings on Dynamite last week. There’s a legit argument saying AEW is starting to cool Daniel off in the same way they did to Punk. With all the characters, house of black etc nonsense going in I really don’t think AEW is all that different from WWE these days.

I hope Brock and Roman have a proper match and not just finisher and signature move spam... But this is Brock and that's all he's done for like 5 years now

Think Cesaro would be cool in New Japan. Expect more of the same if he goes to AEW.

Well it is and quite obviously. The best workers are in the main events and top of their divisions and people are doing their own promos, not having a team of writers decide what their character would say. Those are the two most important things WWE could do to improve its main shows

Obviously when it comes to the names theres a lot of ex-WWE guys on each show as those names are some of the biggest, they have the most worldwide exposure and theres a reason why WWE gave them a push at one time or another, they probably have plenty of potential and talent regardless of how well it worked out there. But they still focus 4-5 guys and girls who werent a WWE superstar over the course of Dynamite and Rampage each week

One of the big things going for him if he goes to AEW is that he's 6'5 which doesnt stand out that much in WWE because they try to get everyone at 6'2 or higher and then they have some guys who are even taller as their "giants"

But in AEW he's going to look huge next to the other really good match wrestlers. So he could easily be seen as a world title challenger for Hangman or the next champ. I do agree with the suggestion that he needs to work on his character, but hopefully he has the freedom to do that in AEW. Almost every ex-WWE guy has a better presentation and character in AEW

Yeah but mic work and charisma is more important in AEW than it’s made out. It’s what made BTE and all the blogs vital for their development while a lot of stars who can’t really talk go missing weeks on end. Look how many x speaks segments are advertised in advance, how Eddie and Jericho are talking their way through the feud, two inner circle meetings in a row in dynamite. Andrade is the perfect example of a similar, if not higher calibre of wrestler getting lost because he can’t do place holding promos.
WWE has fantastic workers at the top, you just need to have a presence and charisma to get noticed among the other top workers.

The people you mentioned are producing something different to the others, thats why they have those segments to round out the show instead of it all being 2 hours of attempting exciting matches where the crowd will get tired.

Andrade was the main event of Rampage in the 2nd top title match in the company. Had a good match but he's been more of a character than a wrestler so far, I believe he had 3 matches (and wins) before that and way way way more tv time in promos and segments. He was on almost every week. Just as much as Eddie.

WWE has Brock, Reigns and Lashley at the top. Goldberg maybe the next tier. Everyone else is sacrificed to try and make them look as strong as possible. They are all big guys, it doesnt matter that they are not the best match workers in the company. Those guys get fed to the above mentioned to pad their records and make them look good.

Owens, Ziggler, Zayn etc are far more likely to be featured as a main event on a Rampage, Dynamite or pay per view than they are a WWE pay per view. Just not what they're looking for as the focused superstars. You should get the message from the several talents who chose to walk away

WWE now just reminds me of the olden days championship manager on the PC where for each match it would just cycle through the same stock text updates over and over

*Time for a contract signing*
**Brock Lesnar has flipped the contract table over!** (text flashes)

*AJ Styles has joined the commentary team for the match*
**AJ Styles has interfered in the match!**

*Edge has sat on a chair in the middle of the ring*
*Edge talks about Edge's career while looking extremely constipated*

**The singles match has now become a tag match due to interference**

Seeing rumours about Austin getting back in the ring at Mania, yet very little fanfare about it. Thought it would be huge news. Might just be that the rumours i'm seeing are bullshit, mind.

I don’t know about the rest but Andrade has 3 tv wins in the last 9 months. His WWE run was better than this

WWE are waiting for the current Kevin Owens Programme to end on TV.

Expect maybe 2 or 3 show build up only.
