I believe that's why wwe wants to do it, they don't want aew and njpw making a partnership and either growing especially more eye balls on aew.
How do we watch these in UKHas anybody here been watching the A&E WWE biographies?

Oh of course that I am sure ofRegardless of WWEs intentions, from new Japan's perspective if you have a genuine choice between a working relationship with WWE and a working relationship with AEW, you're obviously going to push for WWE. Your brand and talent will be on the biggest Wrestling promotion in the world, how anyone can argue that's not a good thing for new Japan I don't know.
It's funny how he folds his arms and pushes his bicepsWonder how much coke Tony Khan snorts. That promo, good grief...

“Before I left New Japan, I pulled aside Ospreay and Jay White,” Omega says. “I don’t even know if I should tell this story, but I will. I told both, ‘This company, at least the western expansion and the pride of the foreigners, it’s all in your hands. They’re going to look to you to carry this thing, so you’ve got to do it.’ I said it to Jay and Ospreay knowing it was a likely scenario, but also hoping to light a fire under both of them.”
With Ospreay forced to vacate New Japan’s championship, Omega was asked whether regaining that belt is among his top priorities.
“For Ospreay, he’d really came into his own,” Omega says. “He made a complete career shift, and he was going to be a fantastic champion. He made changes to his body, he made changes to his style, his look, his demeanor. He became the person that he needed to be the champion of that company. Unfortunately, becoming champion wasn’t enough for him. He tried to fill my shoes.
“Physically, even though he is one of the most gifted performers to ever step foot in the ring, there is only one Kenny Omega—and you can’t fill those shoes. Thus, now his belt is vacant, so perhaps it was always meant to be my belt and my belt alone. That’s not me making a firm statement as to whether I’ll make a venture out there, just that there is no one there that can fill my shoes or override my legacy. When Ospreay comes back, he’ll have to re-analyze who he is and who he’s meant to be, because he’s not meant to be me.”
Michael Scott actually has charisma. If Michael Scott was a wrestling promoter.
Big Show to be number 21 (hopefully it’s andrade)
Props to AEW, they're committed to the brass ring gimmick. The guy who won it on the last PPV got pinned by a 62 year old last night.
WHAT?!?Strowman released. Wow.
Yup, along with Aleister Black, Lana, Buddy Murphy, and Ruby Riott.WHAT?!?

This came out of nowhere. I'm not sure if AEW will go after Strowman or Black, and I wouldn't be surprised if either or both of them end up in Impact. Maybe Black might end up in NJPW by some chance.
The online rumours are that it's up for sale and one of the mega-entertainment companies will be buying it. These releases are a way to make things look sunnier for the finances, or so I've read. What is going on with WWE?
That Braun cut is shocking
Werent they just pushing aleister again on smackdown? WeirdWhat is going on with WWE?

This has to be it. I don't know how else to explain these cuts. It's really hard to imagine Vince selling WWE though. I always expected him to die in the chair. The online rumours are that it's up for sale and one of the mega-entertainment companies will be buying it. I'll take a stab and say they arent selling and people are making that up without any evidence.
We'll see soon enough. Fightful Select are suggesting that Braun had a $1 million dollar+ contract since 2019 and going into 2023. They claim they spoke to several talent who werent surprised by his release.
Maybe Vince just prefers another big guy thats cheaper
They have Keith Lee who was white hot coming from NXT and absolutely killed him to the point of seeing him released also wouldn't be a shock.
Strange place is WWE
If a sports team release a talent that’s on a contract they have to pay up the duration, so why don’t WWE?
Aleister even tweeted about itI know it’s easy to just automatically link everyone to AEW, but didn’t Mark Henry recruit Braun for WWE? He’s in AEW now, so that contact is there.
There’s an Aleister Black shirt available for preorder on the WWE shop, so that seems like a very sudden decision.
