Bryan vs Brock tonight....

The only dream match i have, and I'm fairly certain it's going to be utter shite with Brock squashing him. Alas, I will watch as I've wanted this match for many, many years.

I don't give a rats behind about anything else in this company bar NXT so if one of you lovely folk could tag me in here when they're on I'd be eternally grateful.

With Bryan becoming a heel, and this having 0 build (along with Bryan's booking in general), I have no faith going into it whatsoever.

No way she broke her orbital or any bone for that matter. Swelling would have been immediate and her face would have ballooned the next day.

Stone Cold didn't break his neck, but WWE damm well sure wanted everyone to know he did. Its wwe spin. What he suffered was very serious but Owen 3:16 "I just bruised your spine" would not have had the same ring to it...

With regards to the video, what is being suggesting that, a full forced closed punch is landed, and is being picked up from a camera microphone many rows back over crowd noises. Stuff like this is easy edited by the uploader.

3 things likely happened
1. She was grazed accidentally (punches are thrown with a loose fist), doesn't need to be a full force punch to cut her open and just because she was cut doesn't mean she broke a bone, like wwe want everyone to believe. If she punched with a closed fist she would obviously have been fired

2 Shes been cut previously (training etc) and covered up with makeup bond (see vince headbutt video below) and was going to be pulled the match regardless as it was close to her eye and too risky to go ahead with the match so they worked around it. Blood could just be a capsule.

3. Its a pre planned storyline, which allows them to build the Ronda fight and further build upon comparisons to stone cold. In just those few seconds there is now the iconic blood visuals and "broken" bone(s) claims. Its a very convenient incident to happen. Becky was supposed to be cannon fodder for Ronda, but her unexpected popularity has made wwe to change course.


Makeup bond, no need to cut self in ring. Vince made the cut before going to the ring and slightest contact broke the bond.


Genuine broken orbital & nose incident. Watch the stream on blood in comparison and swelling already beginning
 
@starman You aren't uncovering a mystery here. Jax has a long history of being shit and injuring people. This is just another case of it.

And no, no-one believes she has a "severe concussion and broken face" but she probably has a minor break in her nose or something that would make working a match around awkward.
 
That was one epic beatdown. Charlotte has suddenly become interesting and then we have Becky who is by far the best thing in wwe right now. Women's wrestling is epic right now.

Becky has just had her momentum killed by that tonight. Charlotte did everything she did and more after a great match. I'm looking forward to Charlotte/Ronda II and I'm a Becky fan.
 
The moment they didn’t recognise the Smackdown winning the pre show you know it was going to be 6-0 RAW
 
Smackdown looked pathetic, when it’s the better show.

Strowman ruined another another elimination match by just spamming power slams. Can’t wait till Drew puts him in his place.
 
RAW got the Reigns treatment. The fans don't want it but it was rammed down their throats.

Smackdown is better by a mile but this was terrible booking.

Charlotte-Ronda though. What a match. What a finish. WWE got back it's 'edge' with that, brutal.

Brock's first suplex to Bryan looked like it knocked him out too so that was painful to watch.

I'm okay with them pushing the boundaries again.

I’ve had 2 broken noses without any swelling anywhere near my eyes, I’ve had a fractured orbital and not had a really bad black eye. Just slight yellowing around the area. You don’t just automatically swell up.

It doesn’t have to be a full force punch either, it was an accident, I doubt she put anywhere near her full power in that but anyway it doesn’t matter. We are all free to believe what we want and I don’t believe what you’re suggesting is the case.
 
I only watched a highlight show but what happened to Natalia and Ruby that we got Banks and Her that sucks?

The Ronda vs Charlotte match looked pretty epic but Charlotte doing that at the end kind of didn’t make any sense to me but I guess they are playing the long game and this is part of a Mania set up or for the 4 horse woman.


Oh I forgot special mention to that suplex from the top rope to the outside from Gable and one of the Uso’s That takes balls and trust. What was with “F the Revival” pulling suicide dives and all those fancy manovers.

The Charlotte and Ronda match was the best one of the night, think it would have been better if Charlotte won and then beat her down though.But you know they're going to keep Ronda undefeated for as long as they can. As much as I like Becky I'm not sure if she can go toe to toe with Ronda like Charlotte did.

Nia Jax is getting so much stories about backstage heat, so WWE decide to give her the win for her team.
Daniel Bryan refuses to go to Saudi Arabia and he gets rewarded with a title and doesn't get squashed by Lesnar like everyone else has.

I like the way Samoa Joe went out instantly, later on in the match it would have been hard to take him out as easily as the others, plus it builds up Drew.
 
Just saw some highlights. Ridiculous how they're treating my main man Samoa Joe, like he's some type of joke but Shane is the last man standing for team SD. Surely having someone like Joe the last man fighting the three big dudes until he can't stand no more would have done wonders for him... but no! Shane, the best in the world, has to be the final competitor. A joke.

I was thinking that as well but he I think was sacrificed because he is a main heel and Raw bar Finn was pretty much a heel team.

Probably why Finn got that large section to perform then gone. The match just seemed structured to continue/ setup heel/face storylines on Raw.

Shane McMahon is the best in the world. No wonder he out lasted that jobber Samoa Joe. What has Joe ever done in the WWE?
 
I think Joe's been carrying an injury, and that's why he's been used so sporadically recently.
 
That combo of Drew and Lashley was pretty impressive. Gives legitimate contenders for Brain when he eventually beats Brock. Corbin is meh, but wonder if this will be a new faction or just a one off and has Ziggler been dropped.

I wonder if the finish we got for Flair vs Rousey was the finish we would have gotten if Becky could compete. Seems that they might skip the Becky or suspend it and concentrate on Flair as for me personally after she mentioned her fight with Nia she should have said she had unfinished buisness with Flair and Becky, not just Flair.

Nia and WWE trying to make facebreaker a thing.
