This is the best thing we’ve done in years for the atmosphere…

Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus

Love belting this out before kick off. If I was on the pitch I’d be ready for war listening to 70k fans singing this.

I’m a ST holder and I don’t even know when they started playing it right before kick off, but whoever’s idea it was is a genius. Can picture this ringing out before the big games and the atmosphere being electric.

Totally agree - brilliant

It got picked up post Ten Hag I think. Was there at Chelsea under Ruud and it was played then iirc.

This is great. We also need to bring back the rocky fanfare when the teams walk out, that gets me pumped more than anything.

It's shite, way too manufactured and a bland copycat of certain rival clubs who play a bloody song before the game. Atmosphere comes from people not PA systems; it's already into Anfield territory where 80% of the stadium have a little two minute sing pre-game and then sit in silence for 90 minutes.

Yep, I really want to like it, honestly - but christ no. Manufactured crap.

I've started going in on kick off to try to miss it.

The rocky fanfare was incredible, I still remember the players entrance and oppo team already feeling scared

Ha! Fair play to them. I had hippy parents so listened to hundreds of hours of John Denver as a nipper. He’s got under my skin.
Just realised, it's "Annie's Song"

You fill up my senses,
Like a gallon of Magnet,
Like a packet of Woodbines,
Like a good pinch of snuff,
Like a night out in Sheffield,
Like a greasy chip butty,
Like Sheffield United,
Come fill me again
Na na na na na...Ooooohh!

I think it's a good move

After all anything that gets more people singing is a positive and this undoubtedly has - not sure why anyone would have a problem with it but fans moan about anything nowadays !

I quite like it but the execution could be improved a lot… less volume on the sound system when the fans are singing etc.

I like it.

I'd also say, despite everything, the overall atmosphere has been decent at most matches this season.

100%, we don't get any credit for it - Ipswich at home in the most miserable run of my Utd supporting life was very good last week.
