Anybody having a bad day or week. If he comes here, I reckon he will be the first name in midfield when fit. He is that good.
We could play a 433 with Matic, Thiago and Pogba in very big games or play Thiago as a 6 in small games. He is a beautiful midfield who has good engine and very press resistant.
 
I watched him at Hertha back in January and he scored a great goal and was all round quality. As was Coutinho tbf.

Can't see it happen.

We just extended Matic and are looking to do the same with Pogba. Recently bought Bruno and looking for a RW solution. Don't see us going for Alcantara - we missed the boat in 2013 when he went for a set fee (I forgot what it was but 20-25m if I recall correctly).
 
He'd be the perfect rotation with Pogba and would allow Bruno to rest more.

It's honestly a no brainer, sell Pereira and Lingard and replace him with Thiago?!
 
Feck age and injury record. I'd pay £50m without hesistation. It's Thiago Alcantara ffs.

Sancho for 75mil plus add ons
Grealish for 30mil

Sell jones rojo jesse andreas smalling mata sanchez. Theyd cover thiago and grealish.

Then next summer your all in for a world class cb and backup 9
 


No idea what it says but has Klopp there so I’m assuming it’s something to do with Liverpool.

It doesn't make any sense to sign both Thiago & Grealish together, got to be one of them not two. Grealish for 30 will be laughable if Ben Godfrey is 30m-50m.

I'd certainly take Thiago at 40M Euros over Grealish, even if Grealish is 24, it's not like United can't get a better prospect the following year.

A player of Thiagos calibre is rarely on the market for long. If Grealish wasn't available at a similar price I don't see the point, I think he has some maturing to do anyway and Thiago just offers a lot of experience.

Sancho + Thiago + one other top class player would be even top last years windows.
 
Can’t get drawn into another saga with this guy. 7 years later and he’d still be an amazing signing for us. His injuries don’t look that bad. when players like that become available for a decent price you’ve got to be interested. We should have just bought him from barca. His release was less than it cost us to buy fellaini. Madness.

€40m seriously??? And he's not 30 till next year. If he only plays half our games in a season, that amount would look the steal of the year! When a guy like this becomes available, you delete Jack Grealish and VdB's numbers if you have nothing left over to afford either of them.

Edit: For a fee that low, a club like United could easily afford him and another midfielder. While getting rid of the deadwood to claw back costs.
 
I cant help but let out the pessimist in me whenever Bayern are willing to move on one of their top players.

And,from experience, Bayern are willing to let him go. They're immaculately savvy when signing players and especially moving them on.
They're very good at creating a certain narrative for their particular media chums to chew over and spit out.

Bayern are unwilling to let him leave. He's refusing to extend his contract and Bayern are worried they will lose him on a free next season if he stays another season.
