We did make 320 last year of 38 overs but that was against a weak England side not the likes of Mcrath, Tait, Bracken, Hogg etc.
Australia are just too strong. They've outplayed us and everyone else for that matter. They really are the best team in the world. We may have had a slight chance if we've batted first but still we can't blame that for our defeat today.

Ending in a bit of a farce....Australia celebrate with Sri Lanka taking the light, but then Umpires tell the players that the game is not over, even though it is almost pitch black. The stands brought out for the ceremony have to be taken back, the Aussies have to stick the stumps back in and carry on playing.

Definately. No one here really gave a shit anyway. The games were perfectly timed so they started at 11pm and finished at about 7am here.
The only games I watched were the ones that were on when United were playing. Didn't even watch the final.
We destroyed everyone we played. Whether it was just great form or a difference in class is anyones guess. A mix of both probably.
