The Walking Dead Game

I don't like where things have gone!

That was really hard to play through.

Yep, very tough. Some extremely difficult decisions.

I saved Sarah the first time but I just knew that it would come down to a decision between her and Jane. I saved Jane. Sarah is a sympathetic character but I helped her so many times and she kept getting into dangerous situations. Saving Jane was the sensible decision.

I'm not sure whether Episode 4 was average, very good, or great. But it did feel rushed and it was probably the weakest episode in Season Two. Choice seems nothing but an illusion - I think that's become apparent in Season Two. For example, when the Russian guy accuses Clementine of stealing? Also, the way Sarah dies - it's the same, regardless of the I decision made.

As for the final episode, I expect Christa to show up. Maybe she was captured by the Russians?

Didn't realise the final episode was out, hasn't played the 4th one but went through both today, really liked the ending I go but can't see there being too many alternatives, I'm with only 16% of others

im at Wellington with AJ, I let kenny kill jane and then let kenny walk away

I'm the complete opposite of you.

I shot Kenny and now I'm back at the Supermarket/Carver's place with Jane and AJ. A family came to the gates and I decided to let them in.

Going to be interesting to see where Telltale go with it now. In season one, you made choices but the ending was set in stone. Clem on her looking at the people on the hill.

There's actually multiple endings this time around...

- Clem and AJ in Wellington and Kenny on his own.
- Clem refuses to go into Wellington without Kenny.
- Clem, AJ and Jane back at the supermarket.
- Clem on her own.

Episode 5 still not on PSN for me.

the most emotionally attached game series ever. nothing else to be said. if you haven't played it you absolutely need to.

How many episodes is it on now? Its a massive struggle to stop myself from buying it. Can't wait for it to be completed and so that I can marathon it at one go.

I just finished Season 2, I finished Season 1 not long ago. I was waiting for a PS4 release but figured why when I can get these cheap on steam.

Absolute quality. Seriously if you haven't played these then do it already, if your willing to do some steam trading you can get these dirt cheap too, I think I paid like £3.50 for Season 2.

What a game this is. Powered through season 2 in a few days having really enjoyed season 1. The way they make you genuinely care for the characters is something very special indeed. As was said above, if you haven't played it, you absolutely have to, even if you're a bit sceptical. It's less a game, more an interactive movie, but the character development and story progression are better than any game I've played, by a long way. Like a good series you'll find yourself absolutely desperate to play the next one every time you finish an episode.

I also ended up at Wellington, having stayed without Kenny. I've read up on all the endings and definitely feel this is the best one. For all his faults, Kenny genuinely cared about Clem and the baby and wanted them safe above anything else. Jane was an excellent character but she seemed to care more about herself. Leaving the baby in a car alone in a snowstorm during the zombie apocalypse, just to prove a point, was beyond mental. Obviously you'd rather neither died but I'd feel much safer travelling with Kenny to Wellington than with Jane to a compromised depot full of bodies. Tough to leave Kenny at the end but it's what he wanted, he's achieved what he wanted in getting them to safety and he was going off the rails a bit. He was given supplies and he's proven he can survive on his own so I doubt it's the end for him either way.

Refused to get into Wellington without Kenny. So, now we are me, him and the baby with two bagd of food and medicine, in the middle of nowhere, probably without hope. This was IMO the best ending. Getting there without Kenny would have been a death sentence for him. Jane was an annoying bitch. She cared for Clem but still. Kenny on the other hand was mental (considering how his family was destriyed, twice) but he genuinely cared for Clem and the baby.

Anyway, I don't think that it will matter for the next season. Clem will certainly be only with the baby. It will be alsmost impossible to make the game in that way as to continue with either Kenny or Jane (we know that when you have to choose which character survives, it means that he'll die soon enough). I think that she would be to the baby what Lee was to her.

It was a good game, but still not even comparable to the first one.

Just played the 1st Episode of the 2nd Season. feck. Perfect epitomisation of why i love but hate this game so much. The Sam scene made me want to turn the game off... :(

Well that was emotional.

The Lee scene brought back the pain and salt. I miss that guy. I killed Kenny and left Jane.

Yep, prefer it that way anyway. Think it will make a very interesting Season 3 if she is involved again.

She likely won't get involved. Considering that you have to chose which one of them will die, I guess it is safe to say that on the next season, Clem will be on her own. We saw that everytime you make a 'choice', it gets void very soon.

Kinda a bump. Just played the 2 seasons in the last 2 weeks. Feckin hell, what a game (well interactive movie as has been said before).

Its just crazy how much better this game is than the TV series at storylines as well as character investment. Season 2 especially was grim. Lee is one of the best video game characters. Im glad Clem was really a strong lead character for season 2. They did a good job there too.

Season 3 coming out this year apparently, cant wait.

Did anyone else predict that

The dairy family were cannibals

and

Kenny isn't dead? I guessed this and someone gave it away by saying I've been looking at spoilers.

I went for the screw you guys, i'll go it alone ending. I was annoyed at kenny chasing off my human stepladder mike, so shot him. Didn't like Jane much before her dumbass plan

Really enjoyable game though, preffered season 1, great ending.

Sounds a bit like season 3 will be a new set of characters and will drop clem from a preview i read a week or so ago.

Bump. Just finished playing both seasons and they really do a great job of getting you emotionally attached. It would have been better if the choices really meant something though.

The new one, which is going to be set 4 years after the start of season 1 (I think) is due out November 2016. I can't seem to find a concrete release date though, so considering we're already in November it might be delayed.

I still miss Lee though, wasn't half the fun playing as Clem.

Played the Michonne spin-off recently. It's decent, but short compared to other Telltale games. Between this, Game of Thrones, Batman, and (when they finally decide to do the decent thing and do a second season) The Wolf Among Us, I'd swear 75% of my non-Football Manager gaming is Telltale.

Try Tales from the Borderlands. It's the best thing Telltale have done, TWD aside.

I love all things GoT but the Telltale game was a let down. Batman is decent so far. TWAU was great too.

Been 'playing' these first two seasons the last couple of weeks and just finished them. First season was pretty immense, although it soon becomes obvious not much changes most of the time, other than bits of dialogue. The bond between Lee and Clem was great storytelling though. You really felt it.

That's where season 2 struggled for me. There wasn't a bond with anyone really (Kenny, a little I suppose). Most people were pretty annoying, in fact. I felt like they tried to lead you down a route of Clem becoming harsher, which makes sense, but the choices were sometimes a bit odd. It wasn't as well paced at times, and the controls were a bit iffy too, mainly when it does that box around a hand thing. Strange choice considering there's not much to control.

Still enjoyable enough though. I ended up with
Clem and AJ in Wellington. The right choice I reckon. Although I dunno why Kenny couldn't argue to be let in but not rely on them for anything other than a place to stay? Could've stayed until those supplies they were willing to give away ran out anyway. Obviously not as dramatic though

Playing through this again on Game Pass rather than mobile. It’s a nice chill way to pass time. I’d say it’s aged a bit though. It’s really not very complex at all and a lot of the things you can click on/say/do are filler. It’s not gripped me as much as it did the first time, even though I’ve forgotten 90% of what happens.

This time round I told Kenny to go feck himself when I eventually got the chance. I’d backed him all the way til one little thing, and since then he’d left me to die to the walkers twice, so feck him. Dead family or not, ya don’t get away with that shit. Frustrating you don’t actually get to say that though.

Going in to the last episode of s1 now.

Oh I remember Kenny. What a prick. I didn't play beyond um...I think it was right when they made it to the city. I basically learnt that some of my main decision especially regarding Kenny had no bearing at all in the next season so I thought screw this.
